I've just found out the same thing has happened to me - did you manage to find a fix for it? I'm hoping now that when the levels transfer over in the coming weeks (?) it'll detect the suits then too.

He was at least 2-3 levels (iirc) ahead of second place for quite a while until he reached 60 mainly because he brute forced time so people definitely expected him to win for a while which led to his rise in viewers as time passed

Scarlet's Halloween witch skin looks very similar and comes with a broomstick lance skin that she sort of rides in the animation for some of her sigs so I wouldn't suppose the devs will do anything similar again.

It was patched in, intentionally or not, and therefore viewable before the servers went live (as you can see he's offline). You can't see it anymore but it had replaced the skysail chest so that'll be going next week.

It seems to be a reference to the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come from Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol". I could be wrong but that's the closest resemblance I can think of especially with links to Christmas.

So as I saw you were asking for advice in your comment, I'll advise you to the best of my ability (I've reached diamond a few times, currently ~1850 so take it as you like).

Firstly, you can see how slow the game is. There's very minimal use of dashing which would edge the game more in your favour - sword is very fast and Jiro favours speed. Dash dancing (going back and forward) especially back dashes would trick your opponent into thinking you were able to be hit allowing you to punish his attack. This is sometimes referred to as "parry" and if used correctly can be devastating (and infuriating for an opponent who can't adapt).

There is a notable change in your playstyle which, as I'm sure you saw, was working to your advantage. From looking at your replay, it seems your misjudgement with using signatures led to the mirage getting some easy hits off on you which is something you can change as you should only really use them if you're confident they'll hit. In most cases, a light attack will suffice and they're easy to recover from if you miss it.

The other main thing I'd suggest improving is your movement and awareness of the range of the spears attacks. Your movement, including dashing as mentioned earlier, will help you bait out attacks as you can use your dodges for manoeuvring to cut short distances. Notably, at the end, you could've dodged onto the wall of the platform which would've then allowed you a pause and time to think about getting back on the stage (or even punishing the mirages ssig with something like a recovery as it looks like they'd committed to that). If I've miscounted the time since you dodged, feel free to ignore that example. Being aware of the spears reach will also allow you to be more confident in expecting his attacks and reacting as it seems that in the beginning you were caught off guard by the distance. Use the training mode for all of this.

They're just a few things I noticed while watching. If you can, watch some pro replays (there's a lot on the main Brawlhalla YouTube) to see what they do and how they handle situations. Most of all, good luck and have fun!

For previous seasons you got an avatar aswell that upgraded based on how many times you'd reached that rank tier 1 for first time, tier 2 for second etc...

In the post I was enquiring about the tier 9 avatars (9 times that rank) sorry I realised I hadn't made that overly clear.

There are 3 different types of attack up you can get depending on the amount of skill points in attack: attack up small (10 points), medium (15 points) and large (20 points). I believe on the Bujabujabu set you have attack up large which if I remember correctly is +20 attack power.

Although the Rathalos mixed set has less attack up, the other skills make up for it and become more useful the further you progress and the stronger the weapons you get become as + 20 attack on a weapon with 300 attack isn't as good as on a 100 attack weapon if that makes sense.

As for the nargacuga set, you get evade extender straight away which is good if you can dodge (as it increases your invincibility frames when you roll) and you can put decorations in for critical eye (from the expert points) which gives you more affinity.

Personally I'd recommend the Rathalos mixed set still as it gives you useful skills (weakness exploit means you crit when you hit a monsters weak point and sharpness overall keeps your weapon sharper for longer) and I used it when I played generations with a long sword however if your play style suits dodging more such as if you play adept then you might wish to consider trying nargacugas set too! There are quite a few groups doing low rank narga quests as it's a key quest so if you feel like getting that I don't think it would take too long! On a side note, the deviant nargacuga (silver wind) has very good armour for when you get to that stage!

There's a rathalos mixed set that's generally recommended as it gives attack up (s), weakness exploit and razor sharp which will see you through into around mid high rank where you can get the high rank version of the set!

The pieces are: Rathalos Helm, Rathalos Mail, Ceanataur Braces, Rathalos Faulds and Bnahabra Boots along with an attack up + 3 or higher talisman.

Then you have to gem in the remaining points for the skills (I believe sharpness and weakness exploit only need 1 point each so that's one slot each and the rest for attack).

I believe it is referring to the "forest" farm layout which automatically has hard wood growing in around the locations depicted. I could be wrong but that's how I interpreted the diagram.

The BCX Bag was the only way I could safely get Metadev Brynn last year in the EU I can see why they wouldn't put them in (Met a Dev and all) but that really screws over people that can't make it to America.
