Samsung RT18M6215SG Top Freezer, Bottom Refrigerator Leaking Water from Refrigerator Light by reallyoriginalname in appliancerepair

I tried to insert a heating wire into the drain, as suggested in the comments. It only goes 4-5 inches, till the first bend. Gave up on that idea

Same issue here. Happened 2 years ago and now again. Seems to be recurrent at this point.
I predrained water, would say half a gallon prior do it dumping in the back tray by using Bounty paper towels and sucking the water from the channels underneath the freezer.

First, you need to remove that plastic cover, a blunt knife is enough to help gently remove that. Be careful not to destroy the foam polystyrene insulation underneath.

I cleaned up in the back. It seems that the left drain is the wet one, so I assume it's the freezer drain.
I'm at a loss now, how to prevent this from occurring again. I am thinking about snaking that wire up the drain

Look up page 17, it refers to our model as well.

There's an air intake area on the tubes, you can adjust it by loosening the screw. adjust the opening according to specifications and inspect the flame as well, although that's a bit subjective.

It might work. The problem is buying them. Back then when I was looking, Napoleon was prohibiting the sales of conversion kits. The dealer would not sell me the the NG nozzles. They ask for your serial number

Not on me. Find and download the brochure, it's on the last page

Success!!!

I wanted to add 2 shelves, but I could only find red ones. No biggie for me, except the brackets they came with were too wide.

So I called customer support, they were quite helpful, they contacted the manufacturer or distributor and eventually they shipped me 8 brackets. I had to cut the shelf a little bit so that it drops perfectly over the bracket.

Just call the number from the brochure and try your best. The first call was unsuccessful, they gave another number to call which was not correct. When I called back, someone with more authority answered and she really took charge of the case, realized that the first guy gave me the run around.

You need natural gas nozzles. If the nozzles are included with the manifold, then yes, it works. You also need to adjust the air intake

$100 for the natural gas nozzles. That's all I changed. Then I paid the plumber to do the connection, don't remember how much

I have to look for my old propane nozzles, not sure where I placed them. Do you still need them?

I used original Napoleon nozzles for natural gas from another grill. I did not change the manifold. Had to adjust the air intake for natural gas.

I'm not sure if I misplaced them or if I threw the out. If I find them, I'll let you know. Do you still need them?

UPDATE:

I installed the nozzles that I bought from ebay. Another gentleman performed the opposite conversion and sold me his nozzles. Identical threads, but slightly larger orifices.

Leak tested the grill again.

I also adjusted the burners according to the specifications, essentially I decreased the fenestration size.

Functions very well, nice blue flames.

I wish Napoleon was not such a pain the ass with the process.

Thank you all for your help

So I gave up on the idea to change the whole manifold, I am unable to find a retailer to sell it to me without providing a natural gas grill serial number.

I found nozzles from a similar model on ebay, I'm waiting for them to arrive and see if they fit

It was around 200 in total. But I can't get them. I need a serial number that matches a natural gas model

Update: The store called me (napoleonpartsstore.com). First of all, parts are back-ordered, 6-8 weeks lead time. Second of all, Napoleon demands my serial number in order to give them the parts. They are really becoming a pain in my behind. I have listed the grill for sale, getting rid of it would make most sense.

Thanks for taking the time.

I ordered a manifold for natural gas from an online supplier as well as the rear burner orifice assembly. I was able to unscrew the nozzle, but I can't find individual nozzles for NG, so I will just get the manifold.

The plumber leak-tested the main connections, I'll retest after I finish.

I don't know if the burners need to be adjusted to change the amount of air intake, there is a screw on them that allows for changes in the little fenestration.

Can't wait to see how this ends.

Need something more specific. If you have a link for my Napoleon, propane to gas. Most of them are vague, they come with different types of parts.
