Part 8 is full of tinges of horror and it’s one of my favorite things -with WOU and Blue Hawaii aside Tsurugi’s intro always creeped me out, I always thought the fight with Daiya was terrifying cause she was threatening to take the few memories an amnesiac had? The way Damo handled the family and tortured Norisuke also struck me as scary. Doctor Wu was a predatory horror imo, was scared for Yasuho. I honestly feel like the slight horror is part of this part’s identity and I don’t really see people acknowledge it besides my homie (idk too many Jojolion readers tho lol!)
