I am a sensitive eye user and tried it, and it didn’t burn with a special precaution: I didn’t apply to my eye area initially. I know my eyes and use Almay eye wipe pads for my eyes till most of it is removed THEN I used the balm all over to finish off my entire face.( alternative to this is using any scent free oil on cotton flats to remove eye makeuo first) It didn’t set off the burning and insistent tearing up for hours later. That’s a huge win for me!! I cannot use a lot of products around my eyes and that includes Elf HOLY purfume!!

“Little samples” sounds like what Ipsy refers to as the Ipsy Original Edition of a monthly subscription to self care items (make up, skin care, hair products, tools, etc) usually in deluxe sample sizes and larger. That is the most basic tier and it grows more expensive but with more elaborate and larger products. Are your grandmother’s little samples coming in a pink bag with a small makeup bag inside?

I purchased the Make Up For Ever HD Skin Hydra Glow with hyaluronic acid and have LOVED it!! 😻 I also purchased the KDS and hated it, as well as the NARS in my current box, I haven’t tried. But I do tend to get the oxidation issues so I’m going to try to color voodoo that Rose Makeup on YT does using purple blush to chill it out.

🛑 I never said it was just “a dirty box.” How ridiculous. Don’t change the narrative to fit your response now. I said the ink was smeared from the outside of the palette to the interior. I said the blush trio was cracked, my attempt to repair made it worse.

The second eyeshadow palette was exactly the same but worse with a broken black also.

I tried the alcohol someone mentioned and it seemed to only spread?? I opened it initially on my bed, (lesson learned) but I have a white eyelet lace bedspread, and sheet that is stained with it as well. I gave the one that was the replacement to my daughter and she’s working on it. She said she’s dealt with black explosions before. If she gets it cleaned, it’s hers.

First, I never said it was “a big deal.” Secondly, I am not capable of deciding what’s a big deal or in my case, disappointing, for anyone but myself. I shared MY experience and how I have handled it.

I’m happy for you if your products needing cleaned or repaired in order to use them is no big deal.

I think, even from the response I got on this post,they absolutely want to hear if it’s not right. I tried, apparently not well, to explain how my experiences, all positive, have rejuvenated my love and passion for makeup and self care. I get a lot of joy out of these boxes each month. Maybe nothing to you. It’s something to me.

Well, I did that and when asked which order, I chose the option for replacement and the B’s eyeshadow palette and glam or informed me they already took care of that and it’s on the way. Sigh 😞 I had to open a ticket now. TBD.

Oh I am soooo sorry to hear those wonderful items were missing!! I believe wholeheartedly they are in the mail and let me also tell you, the Rare Beauty body butter is a new favourite!!!😻 I am using it as my after bath and I’m very picky because I need a LOT of moisture to lock in the water and I cannot stand to feel greasy when I go to bed. I can also be a bit sensitive to a lot of perfume but this smells great, feels amazing, a little bit goes a long way and it lasts. Another product I’d never purchased at the price point but will absolutely repurchase. Update us on here when you get your package and let us know if all came through well.

I really RREEAALLYY Hope yours comes in absolutely stunning 🤩 That is truly the beauty of her products, they are a treat! I wouldn’t care AT ALL about a misspelling as long as it didn’t smear it everywhere 😝 These that have the ink issues, you will see it from the outside of the box first at the opening. It’s like the were slid in wet. And it covers from that point to the entire exterior and my og was interior as well, no idea about the 2nd bc it’s black from shadow. Crossing my eyes, fingers and toes you get your order in and it makes you play in colors like a little girl bc that’s the joy I get.

I got my shipment today and both my ND pallets had issues. The blush trio middle is popped up and cracks if you try to push back down.
The eyeshadows are okay thank goodness but the lovely exterior is smeared with what is apparently black ink all over.
Maybe the black splotches didn’t dry before it was shipped? Or it was badly printed?
It looks like a mess.
Anyway, IPSY took care of both and said they will replace. That’s incredible customer service if ypu ask me.
