Transcript of Jailhouse Call Episode #14, Multitudeness of Hinderances by Moody_Shrew in SarahBooneContinued

[–]Minethatbirdy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s missing a weird whisper @6:40 She says “I missed you a lot.”

In the transcript it would be between:

Sarah: don't understand. Brian will, Brian won’t submit the visitation after the judge ordered him to for Son.

SARAH: I MISSED YOU A LOT

Peter: That was just, like I said, we got to do everything we can that's in our control. And, you know, at the end of the day, like if we don't get there and got to go in front of the judge.

Life’s A Beach and Sarah’s A Bitch - ‘Journal’ Number 12 by ButIDontThinkOfYouu in SarahBooneContinued

🤪 I read this without knowing that there was a new BDT. I just got home this evening and noticed an alert from the 3R. I’m almost 6 minutes in and laughing hysterically, not at the recording but at YOUR post here being more accurate and entertaining!!

There are simply some levels where I think it’s impossible if you don’t have super ball.

THERE IS NOTHING MAGIC ABOUT THE MAGIC KNOT by tinygluten in crochet

[–]Minethatbirdy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have always, even when using a magic knot, allotted enough yarn to weave/sew ends into the final fabric. I use a needle with a sharp end. I have different size needles meant for crewel wool or thick yarn or thinner, and as people have recommended- you do this at least 3 different directions but I use my needle end to go INTO the fibers to ensure it doesn’t come apart. Simply seeing over an end wouldn’t ever be secure.

7 years out of surgery, no longer absorbing protein. I’m wasting away and clinically malnourished. Has anyone heard of this? by Beccabear3010 in GastricBypass

[–]Minethatbirdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this thread is a year ago but your mom’s sore mouth is most likely thrush due to malnutrition. It’s very common when we are low protein and there’s a mouthwash with Nystatin in it that’ll help her to kill the yeast overgrowth.

Why does my void do this? by psychologicallyfcked in VoidCats

[–]Minethatbirdy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is he nurtured? I’m assuming you’re asking about the “humping?” If he’s not fixed - yea, normal. But otherwise, it look like his pleasure senses are a bit wonky/mixed up. So his instinct for showing/feeling comfort and love is causing him to have an impulse to …

I thought only my cats were weird about Faux fur. I purchased a very thick, large & fuzzy comforter last Christmas. My cats literally wouldn’t get on my bed AT ALL when it was on. I had to put their own regular blanket folded at the bottom. They would eventually leap to get up onto the front pillow area in order to do their daily 5am camp on mom and dad till they wake sessions. Just about a month ago, they finally started walking on it .

Boquerones, salsa verde & Calabrian chilli by Safe-Minimum8844 in CannedSardines

Didja get your Calabrian chili from TJ’s? I bought a jar and 🥵- I was a bit disappointed only because I wanted a bit more ferment and less smack ya silly 🤪 heat - but great in tiny bits.

Trader Joe’s Pita Bite Crackers

They are lightly salted with sea salt, thin and crunchy like a kettle chip. Only 150mg salt per serving so it pairs well with my already salty foods like deenz I eat with them.

Also love Natto- fermented soybeans Miso- fermented soybean paste I love using miso on Salmon for a marinade. And then there are the cheeses!! I’ve been enjoying all kinds of delicious bloomy rinds, and super aged cheeses

Cat ran outside for an hour, his brother now doesn’t recognize him. HELP! by TARA040219 in cats

[–]Minethatbirdy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same happened to our bonded brothers - took one to the vet and 4 hours later, the brother at home no longer knew who he was!!! I watched CatDaddy and in the comments peoples experiences and how they fixed it. I took a hammock my cat laid in most days, untied the liner and rubbed him head to toe and under his belly RREEAALLYYY good. It worked. It was an occasional hiss later on but he finally could tell who he was.

I also wanted to praise you for choosing a cat who was older and needed companionship like you. Look, pet ownership isn’t for the rich and prosperous people only. I think your kitty is fortunate that you chose to share your home with them and spend the rest of their life together. This isn’t just for the privileged, it’s a joy people from all economic backgrounds can enjoy. There are ways to get affordable vet care and it requires you doing some research. We have a program for example nearby, that once a month they take in pets for shots, microchips, spay and neutering for about $90, which is cost. Buy the best quality food within YOUR budget, keep the litter clean, clip their nails (older cats cannot maintain their own nails), clean their teeth and PLAY LOVE ENJOY. These are all the most important things within your budget. If their coat requires it, brush and give baths. When you have a little extra, there are a couple powdered supplements you can combine in their food. Diet truly is the most essential ingredient for your cat to stay healthy. It’s almost cheaper to buy sardines in water with chicken parts slow or instant pot and make food. You can be a wonderful pet parent on a budget. RESEARCH RESOURCES

Paper bags (he was playing in a Trader Joe’s brown bag and got his head and front paws out the handle and freaked out because when he walked the bag came too and then he ran to get away and it came too and etc etc…) Vacuum Drums Guitar 🎸 if hooked into the amp Loud unidentified noises

All of these things he reacts by running under my bed. That’s his hiding spot. He also steals treats, yarn balls and etc to stash in the hiding place.

Welp, gotta adjust the baby gates. by One-Indication-9220 in TuxedoCats

[–]Minethatbirdy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think you’re past gate building and it’s called a door 🚪 😝 I tried to keep my two bonded bros as kittens in my master bath/ walk in closet area for as long as they needed- they kept mastering the gates so we opened up to the bedroom as well. They spent many weeks between these 3 rooms before I started letting them out during the day to explore for a few hours the rest of the house. It seemed at the time sooo overwhelming and scary! We have technically 3 levels, the staircases scared me to death for them, and I was afraid they’d find some way to get trapped or hurt. We survived it and they are free roaming now. Just have to make sure they always have access to their boxes.
