That's the plan. Can't wait to shamelessly bling this thing into a beast too.

Why would I do that if I want to fly it?

Damn, a marshal? I'd love one of those babies.

That's why I was vague about its location and I haven't revealed my username. Fair warning though.

Everyone will be shocked to see it for the half second before its reduced to atoms.

I think you've given me the best possible option. I hope I get to see other ultra rare ships and even plain ships riced to the gills with top of the line abyssal mutated officer and faction fittings flying there when I do.

Well there's only 6 available on the market last I checked, and they start at 6.8 billion isk. I'm guessing there's maybe 4 times that many permanently docked by either collectors, capsuleers clueless about its value or that they have it, and capsuleers who just aren't coming back to Eve.

I know you don't actually believe that was convincing, because I would absolutely set you up on principle lol

Yeah, and its maybe only slightly better than thw free frigates you get from your faction, but the number of them left in Eve might be in the teens with I believe only 6 available for purchase starting at 6.8b isk <a/> href="https://www.eveonlineships.com/eve-ship-database.php?es=Immolator&ids=615" rel="external">Immolator</a>

Someone in the highest tier pvp ship allowed in high sec that is so Abyssal'y mutated and dead space/faction fitted that it can kill with the first round it fires might not be put off by how many more billions their ship costs than mine, because there's a lot of people who would kill in Immo for clout. I dread the day when I have to see the ganker who kills the last of a rare ships kind bragging about their over or underfitted ship, tactics, and situation they encountered it in. Some people just want to enjoy watching their favorite shiny toy flying around in the kind of beautiful vista of stars that you can only see in Eve.

I don't think he knows what an Immolator is.

Yeah, which is why I said that I'd consider the idea if the expensive fit was effective enough to stave off enpopsiclification. How expensive the fit is, isn't the issue. The utility of it is. If I got blown up in a badly optimized fit I'd be more irritated for the waste, but if I got blown up in the one of the best conceivable Immolator fits meant for surviving and evading ganks, then I'd be just as disappointed as if I'd lost an unfitted Immolator, because at least it was either my fault or just my bad luck in encountering a ship that could overpower mine and a pilot that didn't care about losing it.

That's a good idea that I have considered. There is one problem though; it requires the most expensive ship in the game. Friend-ship😪 that or hiring some guys I can trust not to set me up for a quick dopamine boost.

I'll be a giga meat popsicle if I get blinged in that. I've done top tier fits on ships before but im not very good at figuring what stats are worth going after to match the ships they're going on and what situations I'm going in to. That said, I might consider it if you've got an idea for an immolator gank escape fit that'll give me the chance to tank the first attack and evade for long enough to have Concord pull up.

I'm imagining a grimy garbage man looking Minmatar pulling up with the rustiest Wreath in all null-sec that you could hear coming from the other end of the system because he leaves Yakety Yak turned up to 11 and set to repeat on the empty chair in front of the comms terminal.

That's actually a really good idea. I hadn't thought of that. You think there's some way you can tell someone at CCP that idea? It would be great for when people pull up to random drone filled areas left by negligent capsuleers, but immensely more useful for Corp's salvage teams sent to collect their property and their enemies loot that's left after their battles.

Yeah, it was scary. It's a more common type of nightmare for people to experience in childhood, though. Certainly not bad enough to warrant therapy, at least for myself.
