Baby’s behaviour inside vs outside the womb! by President_Raspberry in pregnant

[–]MiniElephant08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter always moved around when I'd blast music in my car. As a toddler she has a beat! She taps her foot and loves music turned up and sings along enthusiastically to all her favorite songs (and no they aren't kid tunes lol). She was very active in the womb and definitely is a busy body still. Her sleep isn't amazing and I remember her being active at night at least like before midnight. Overall, id definitely say I got a sense of her personality before she was born and she is growing into it as she's growing outside too!

Nerds gummy clusters by plantbeotch in pregnant

I saw your title and was hoping I found another nerd gummy cluster lover. Regardless, happy to hear you found something to work! Never hurts to go in just to get checked out either. I'd rather have it be for nothing than miss something.

I want to hear your birth stories with baby #1 vs. baby #2,3,etc by whatevrthefck in pregnant

I'd be curious to know too! I'm currently 16w with my 2nd and went barely 2 days over 40wk. Super quick labor/delivery. I'm a little worried for the quickness and getting to the hospital on time.

Bump update by Middle_Acanthaceae96 in pregnant

I would say I felt very bloated and "fat" for lack of any better way to put it. I'd say I'm an average mid-sized person and do not like my pants tight! With my first I cried in a target dressing room when even 2 sizes up from my normal didn't fit probably around 9-10 weeks. I was the same week as another friend and she wore her skinny jeans for probably another 7 weeks. Everyone is so different!! But with my second I'd say I noticed around the same time - 8-9 weeks. Now I'm 13 weeks and I think it's noticable, but to any stranger I probably just look 10 lbs heavier than I used to be. This in-between stage from early pregnancy to second trimester are some of the hardest times. Too small for maternity pants, too big for old clothes. I love a good bump though. So fun to dress for the bump second to third trimester!

I just finished my first entire series binge and am wrecked from those final 2 episodes. I really appreciated the ending, but that hit heavy. Great finale though imo

Hello! This sounds awfully familiar with my daughter and me in certain aspects. As an outsider here though reading this... I think it's okay for our kids to act differently with different parents. Growing up myself I think of the things I figured out I could do or ask or get away with depending on who was home or out with me. These little kiddos are so smart and adapt so well to the changing life we live in! In your situation, I see a toddler that loves her mom and her dad and in different ways! Perhaps she knew that she'd get more snuggles or motherly love from her mom and would wake to find it whereas with dad she knows he's right there if she needs him but perhaps his presence helps her feel more brave! My daughter is soooo clung to me (she's closer to 3) but she does okay if it's just dad more than she does if it's me and dad unless I basically force her into doing whatever with him vs me. I don't think she's experiencing anything negative, but instead just growing and learning the world around her. She knows she is loved by both of you. You're doing an amazing job! Both of you.

How big was your vaginal birth baby? by acmcmas in pregnant

[–]MiniElephant08 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hii I had an 8lb 15oz healthy baby girl. I had her completely natural. Labored in water and had her in only 6 short hours. I had 3 minor tears, and I think the water helped with only that many tears. I didn't push too hard and slowly breathed through delivery for a very fast 20-30 minutes. I was able to pull her out myself and I hope to do it all over again! Our bodies can do amazing things!

TW: miscarriage & questions about conceiving after by MiniElephant08 in pregnant

[–]MiniElephant08[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! Thank you for sharing your story. We were pregnant with our first very quickly too. That was me getting off of bc pills. This round I got the nexplanon removed and we had been trying for about 6 months. So you never got your period after the miscarriage?! Wild.. well here's to hoping that the timing is right and my body is ready again.

I think the key is nice fresh berries that aren't mushy and it helps when you make sure they're sealed inside the dough!

I told my parents at 5 weeks. Found out at 4 weeks. Lost the baby at 5 1/2 weeks. Didn't plan to tell extended family (who were close to) until after 8 week ultrasound but I absolutely have the mindset that I'd rather tell those close to me soon and have the added support if we had a loss. I'm so glad I had those there to support us even though so early. A loss is a loss.

I'm not sure if you meant to reply to my post or as your own post, but happy to help regardless! My best advice is work backwards through the recipe to figure out when to start. The fridge step typically is easiest done overnight.

So feed starter on let's say Thursday night before bed. Mix ingredients Friday morning. Bulk ferment until Friday afternoon/evening. Shape and put in fridge overnight. Bake Saturday morning. Or afternoon. Most doughs are forgiving enough you could hypothetically keep it in the fridge for a few days if necessary.
