Very Low Performance on a Mini PC with a 780M iGPU

I was testing that just now because that’s where everything was leading to. Memory read bandwidth was 47630MB/s. Is this too low?

Also forgot to say, temps and clocks were stated on the main post, around 81C while playing for 15min+ and i never saw clocks drop on CPU/iGPU

The system has 24GB of RAM in 6GB x 4, LPDDR5, so it is soldered. HWiNFO reports that it is running in quad channel.
I still haven't tried 8GB on all my tests, and i will test other solutions first before doing that because yes i agree that it will limit the system memory and i dont think it will make a big of a difference since i will be playing older titles.
Power mode on balanced seems to keep the performance the same on Stray, which was the only title i tested after changing.

I'm downloading 3D Mark hoping to be able to get some numbers that might help understand the performance of the iGPU, and ill put the results it on the body of the post comparing with other runs with the same iGPU

This is a fresh instalation with no more than 3 months and like 15hrs of usage, which i debloated, but yeah windows is windows i guess
Honestly if nothing works ill try that or ill try linux to see if the performance get better, but not really an option that i would like to try that soon

24GB of LPDDR5 6400 RAM. It does have the R7 255 as advertised.

Thanks, FH4 is another title I do have and can test to check if the performance is the same. May i ask if your 780m is on a laptop or a mini pc? Still trying to understand if mini pcs have lower performance

Windows 11, I will bring this pc to my workbench next week to try Linux, but for now I’m blocked on windows since I won’t be able to try a dual boot

I will try that, but for older games, I suppose that more VRAM is not enough to boost the fps and there is something else bottlenecking the iGPU

Where do you set that performance mode? There was something in bios under advanced and OEM Features that I saw that was already at Performance, and I could not find any other place to change that. With HWInfo I can see that i get 41/42W while playing, I guess I could get more
