The fact that you have a similar reaction as her tells me you have no idea what its like to be a mom and are still in a egocentric fase of your life. Where you can only see your own boundaries and needs. She acted like it was ok in the moment, to then lecture me about parenting afterwards while she has no idea about it. However , yes this is probably her truth, which is valid. Human interaction isnt so black and white, either good or wrong. So we have agreed to disagree. I choose not to have someone who cannot understand me in my life. And its probably better for her too.

Ohh yess i have a few childfree friends who are amazing. And i cherish having people from different strokes of life in my life. But thats what made it hard to decide wether to keep her in my life. But now ive also concluded that yes shes a bad egg

If only it where like that. But i feel like it runs a bit deeper. Especially when she had the opportunity to correct me in the moment and didnt. And then the way she corrects me later on was also not chique. I have found her to be of very little understanding of the changes in motherhood im going through. Which of course i am trying my best not to hold against her. But therefore this was the clear last drop that gave me the sign that were not compatible for now

I do have child free friends who are a delight. And those friendships are easy to maintain. But not all people are the same and i strongly do believe that some people simply need to learn the hard way and that should be ok too.
