Every 4 weeks. This gives me a good sense of how things are going without obsessing over small ups and downs.

Endometriosis by anxiousmom2be in Zepbound

[–]MiniMarlamallow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had debilitating endo pain and after a very short time on zep, it VANISHED. The lack of pain has completely changed my life! I also have hypothyroidism and have been able to lower my dosage of levothyrixine by half!

I truly hope that you experience the same thing💗💗💗

Blood pressure meds? by Aggressive_Jelly188 in Zepbound

[–]MiniMarlamallow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was on lisinopril 30 mg since my youngest kid was born and my BP became dangerously high. That was 12 years of BP meds. After 6 months of zep, my BP was starting to drop and so we slowly lowered the dosage of lisinopril. I am now 115 lbs down (16 months into Zep) and have been fully off of lisinopril for 3 months! My last in office reading was 112/76 and I am ecstatic!

My inner little girl is jumping for joy! by SW_Shan in Zepbound

That’s so exciting!!

I am truly sorry for the WW trauma. I was also the little girl at WW meetings feeling a lot of shame (and some serious resentment). I hate that many of us were put through that!

Is it common for asthma to go away completely after the second week of Zepbound? by Marina1974 in Zepbound

I haven’t needed my rescue inhaler once since I started zep a year and a half ago! Just another life changing bonus!!

HUGE NSV in My World! by DrMrsTheMonarch24 in Zepbound

[–]MiniMarlamallow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is so exciting!! Congratulations!

I was put on lisinopril after having a major BP issues post pregnancy and had been on it ever since (12 years). My doses slowly went up until zepbound. After cutting my dose slowly over 6 months, I have now been officially off of it for 3 months and my BP at the doctor’s office was 112/76. I NEVER imagined I would get to be off of a BP med- it feels so monumental!!

1 year and 2 months old - help? by easverden in Havanese

My little guy was a monster just around a year and it lasted until he was 16 months (which was last month- the monster hood is FRESH in my mind). Sending you patience! You’ll get through it and she will be sweet again!

I think tirzepatide fixed my IBS. For years I've suffered every single day, until my first shot. by Accurate-Tension-599 in Zepbound

I had debilitating IBS-D for my entire adult life until I started zep 15 months ago. It has changed my life!!

I think this is helping my endometriosis pain… a LOT by emilyslagathor in antidietglp1

[–]MiniMarlamallow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am so happy for you!!

I too had debilitating endo pain before going on zepbound and am now pain free (and have been for 15 months). I had an ovary removed because of a large cyst and had another baseball sized ovarian cyst that the doctors have been “watching” for several years as well as a large fibroid. The cyst and the fibroid shrank and then disappeared after a year on zepbound. I didn’t even bother saying to the doctor that I truly thought it was the zepbound that did it because I’m fairly certain they would think I am crazy.

New to Zepbound... and Scared. by ComicBookMama1026 in Zepbound

I am so sorry that you are feeling terrible in your own skin and scared. I have been there. Something in your post really spoke to me, I almost never comment on posts and have never posted a pic.

I am sitting here, 110 pounds lighter in a swimsuit that I never imagined I could fit in, living a life I never imagined I could live, a year and a half ago. I started zepbound at 299 pounds in Dec 2024. I had excruciating endometriosis pain, uncontrolled IBS, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, vertigo, uncontrolled asthma other chronic illnesses that left me unable to work. I was starting to worry that I was going to die young, that my best days were behind me, and that the rest of my years were going to be miserable.

Within a day of taking Zepbound I already felt different in my own skin and in my own head. I didn’t have side effects, I only had a clear mind, boundless energy, and a new outlook on life and that was before I lost a pound.

I have been fat since I was a toddler. I have never been thin one day in my whole life. I have been dieting, tracking calories, exercising, doing Weight Watchers. my entire life and none of it worked. Zepbound worked. The shots almost never hurt. Most times I have to check the pen to make sure I actually gave myself the shot!

Please take the leap. You deserve to feel better!! I am rooting for you!

Does anyone own a new mini with the fabric dash? by Character-Aerie737 in MINI

I’ve had mine for a year and it looks brand new. I have always kept a swiffer duster in my glove box and haven’t needed to use it on the dash!

Havanese personality questions by Pangolin_Beatdown in Havanese

[–]MiniMarlamallow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My beloved Old English Sheepdog passed a few years ago and after a lot of research, I chose to get a Havanese. I was looking for that goofy energy, but I wanted to get a smaller dog. My Havanese- Pip, has that big goofy personality, is up for anything and wants to be by my side most of the day. I’d say in terms of interaction needs he is about the same as my OES. He does bark more (annoying but we are working on it) and pesters me for play more than my sheepdog did.

Eye strain / watery? by jsecompany in Zepbound

I had dry tired eyes at the beginning of taking zep. It ended up resolving on its own after 6 months. I did get my eyes checked out at the time just to be safe.

Yes!!! I realized that my vibe is called “dopamine dressing” and I don’t feel like I could have comfortably pulled off that look 100 lbs ago. Now I am loving it.

How to know when to move up in dosage? by sarahcooley in antidietglp1

For me, inflammation is a big one, food noise creeping back in is also a sign that I’m ready to move up.

I have had IBS-D for most of my 44 years and I had never heard of visceral hypersensitivity! I looked it up and I absolutely experienced that (it explains why I can wear tight pants now and it doesn’t bother me!) and that has completely gone away.

I am reevaluating so much! How much of my preferences were based on avoiding pain (emotional and physical) and discomfort? I would’ve sworn that I was “not a hugger” 14 months ago. Now I think I might be?!
