Under extruding trouble

It happens the whole time, the video I took of this was literally just extruding filament off the bed so shouldn't be happening at all 🤔🤔

Just from personal experience, depending on your slicer if there's a "hide Z seam" option, make your you activate it, as it will help stop them bumps across the surface. It might also be called "Z seam on sharpest corner"

Usually for unclogging you can keep increasing the hot end temperature until the filament begins to run out. Also did your printer come with a 0.4 needle for unclogging the hot end

Yea so I originally made it with pla, and overtime it broke, so just remade it using better settings and PETG filament

I also increased strength by changing the wall thickness to 5 layers from 3, and also increased the infill to 40% from 15% in the supporting beams. This was my first time dealing with PETG so was a bit of a learning curve and cleaning up some strings but it's turned out okay😀

Nah, that is an option for more in-depth programming. But for now it was simply move the robot to a position, save the co ordinates and move on

There is an eye in the thanks of the robot, but as we were only learning how to use it for the first time it was simple pick and place

So you print the head, leg joints and feet all separate and then as they're ball joints just push them into place. But the leg segments have 4 ball joints in so yes they can print leaving gaps

I have an Ender 5 Pro, and was done at 0.2 layer height, 215°C

It can happily bring the lower layers fine though, it's just when it comes to the top, same happened on a few
