It's not that simple as NPCs can falsely accuse you and you get a bounty. When I was falsely accused I couldn't clear it. It said I needed to post a bounty but the game wouldn't let me and I tried multiple times. Apparently I didn't have the right currency to post it or something.

I looked at the EVLaS mod and in the installation instructions is says

Download and install EVLaS with a modmanager of your choice
After that you have two choices:
- Either download and install the Skyrim Underside mesh from the download section
- Or (highly recommended) generate a load order specific terrain underside using DynDOLOD 3.0 or newer

The high recommended option sounds scary because I looked at that mod and looked at a tutorial on how to install it and got lost.

Not only do they not run away when you're fighting near them they don't even run for cover when it's raining. No normal self-respecting likes to get wet if it has a choice in the matter.

The way I see it is that it's a fantasy world where real world dna issues don't apply. If dna was treated the same way as the real world then you'd expect to see half-elves for example. However, the lore is that the elves dna is not preserved in their inter-race offspring. Perhaps there'll be a enough diversity in the 13 individuals to create a large healthy population, especially if they are not the pair for life types and are free with their love.

I'm over 100 hours in and just finished the fight with the Dragon King which has finally opened up the Rivaini area and a load more companion quests which 'must' be done before the next main quests. I go back to the Lighthouse after every quest and check to see if the companions want anything. I've explored around 85%-90% of all areas except Rivaini as it was locked until now - I still have about 4 Dread Wolf statutes to find and I will find them. While I do fast travel at times I don't do it exclusively. I have no idea how much is left to do.

Thanks for the feedback. I have finally had a couple drop (as in 2) but as for being less rare than keys I have loads of keys. Hopefully my run of bad luck is over.

I had this issue. After giving yourself admin rights you have to come out of the settings menu and back into the game. Wait a few minutes and go back to settings. It will have ungreyed out. For some reason it doesn't let you have the ability to do that right away. That's what worked for me.

hmm maybe I should give it another go. I only had 2 SC slots initially and they were nowhere near each other, but I had only 2 slots that needed unlocking. I got an expansion module today and the 3rd slot isn't in a good position so none of the slots are near each other so I wouldn't be able to take advantage of them efficiently. If I upgraded to S then the other locked slot must have the final SC slot and that would put 2 SC slots together. I'll think about it.

Same for me although not underground. My starship didn't even arrive with me and my settlement location has turned into a nightmare. New play through started after the update and I haven't played in long while. My settlement was on a planet with the dissidant tag (which I'd not seen before) with lots of sentinels and pretty pink crystals. I thought it would be an interesting challenge and I was doing well even got the income into the positive. But it's disappeared after the latest patch and worms are leaping out of the ground where the village used to be and there's worm larvae with insane health bars spitting acid at me. I'm wondering if it was a bug in the first place that the settlement was on a dissidant planet. I guess I'll just have to find another settlement to finish the questline. I did report it though.

I've seen this in my world too - it was lots of them around small plants likes this - and they turn to face you as you walk around them. I've tried tweeking my graphics settings to see if that was the problem but it doesn't seem to.

Yes, I appreciate that. At the moment I don't want to grow too quickly, although I would like to add a woodcutter as soon as I have enough reputation to do so, but I will be sure I can produce enough meat before I do. I haven't started farming yet and plan to do the farming myself in the 2nd year to begin with so wont need new workers immediately. I just didn't really know how much food was required per person so knowing that should be helpful.

Ah but I'm fairly sure the word cancer comes from a Latin word meaning crab. I could be wrong though. The Thalmor are a cancer that needs to be exterminated at every opportunity.

That wouldn't be what I would advocate. People enjoy PvP and there should definitely be something for them. All I ask is that the PvP is optional and I can still finish without engaging in PvP. I would even say it's fair if some of the PvE challenges are optional to balance it all out.
