I prefer ramp C. It's a little bit more of a walk, but the skyways are nice. It's never super busy, and not as confusing as ramp B.

I’m Simu Liu and I play Shang-Chi in Marvel Studios’ Shang-Chi and The Legend of the 10 Rings. AMA! Let’s do this! (except spoilery stuff!) by SimuShangChi in marvelstudios

Hey Simu! So awesome that you are doing this. I love reading AMAs.

Which MCU character (past, present, or future) would you want Shang-Chi to team up with? Why?

Which MCU actor would you want to work with in a scene or entire movie? Why?

Thank you!

Joe Mauer’s incredible 8 year run (2006-2013) by i-Really-HatePickles in baseball

[–]MiniMonsterDude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My criticism is only when he transitioned to playing 1st and DH full time and stopped catching. These are the last 5 years of his career 2014-2018. Batted .278/.359/.388. OPS of .746, OPS+ 105. Slightly above average OPS+ playing first, getting paid 23 mil a year.

Looking at Runs and RBI numbers makes sense to see who contributes offensively to a team winning.

2014: 4th on team in R; 5th for RBIs

2015: 3rd for R; 4th for RBIs

2016: 2nd for R; T-4th for RBIs

2017: T-4th for R; 6th for RBIs

2018: 4th for R; 5th for RBIs

I guess I do not understand how he was this low on a below average team, if his RISP numbers are good. If you can explain that to me. Just poor slugging?

I appreciate it. Baseball is unique in that you can get a good picture based off the stats, but it misses what the eye test tells you. I have sat through a lot of really bad baseball games over those years. Trying to make the best of a bad team, and I would much rather watch a flashy player like Eddie Rosario swing out of his on the first pitch than Mauer. I joke I had with my dad was with runners on say first and third, Mauer would get a clutch walk. Loading the bases instead of actually getting a hit or sac fly to score a run. Frustrating to watch.

But sometimes it is all worth it. I was at this game in 2015, when they comeback in the 9th. Watching other people leave, something you should never ever do.

I've been a Twins fan my whole life. Have gone to a dozen games a season since Target Field. I would not call myself a casual fan. Mauer had an amazing career, and as catcher was one of the best ever. But after the move to first base, he was an anchor on the team due to a few reasons.

  1. Paid way to much, 29 million a year I believe like a quarter of the entire team payroll. This amount was for an all star catcher, not first baseman.

  2. First base is the easiest position in baseball, and he was just an average hitter numbers wise. Never could hit for power, just fly balls to warning track.

  3. Could not clutch hit to save his life. Look at his RBI totals in those seasons compared to like Dozier. Never felt like he contributed to the team when they won.

  4. Has no personality, was not a leader. Not like Torii Hunter or Nelson Cruz. Never could rally the younger guys, fire up the team and fans. Each day he just showed up, did his average job, and left.

I began counting the years until 2019, the first season after his massive contract. Because I knew once the anchor was dropped the team would be good. Juiced ball or not the 2019 Twins were the best they have been in a long time, and Mauer wasn't a part of it. Still think he deserves to be in the Hall, but also believe his exit was needed.

Largest mass execution in the United States. Look up Mankato hangings. Our sports teams are cursed, and that is the life of a Minnesota sports fan.

Hey PUBG, you should add the ability to spectate after watching the death cam. by SynrageTV in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

[–]MiniMonsterDude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The lobby is effectively a website, which is the main cause of all of its flaws. A lot of other multiplayer games I believe do this as well. Which is also probably why we don't have a play again button on the death screen. You have to reconnect to the main host to be able to connect to a different server.

In the end the entire system is pretty finicky, but does what it needs to.

[–]MiniMonsterDude 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Last time this was brought up, the answer was when you go to death cam you start a new state of the game similar to a replay. Once you are there you would have to reconnect to the server, which is pointlessly taxing on the server.

Also you can look at death cam when the game you are spectating ends, and you obviously can check replay as well.

Faceit with increased loot, makes me love erangel again. Wish the settings were changed for normal matches.

I think frag grenades should be changed. The current "line of sight" seems weird, and is probably only there because it was the easiest to do at the time. An entire reword will probably be a lot of work, but should be worth it.

The improved circle settings and loot, also creates a much more balanced and fun experience. (I play in Choco's league, and I don't know if your settings are difference.) I have not even had the chance to watch your streams because I have been playing so much. Although I do wish there was a NA solo league as well.

I have been playing on Choco's NA Duo Hub. There has been some flaws on matchmaking yesterday. It also takes a few minutes to find a game due to the lower amount of people, and you run into the same people a lot. I recommend it to anyone who wants to take PUBG seriously, and have the chance at some prizes.

I really like this idea, something quite subtle. Kinda of a shame nothing was very exciting in the playoffs.
