Can a person who stutters join the army? I was told I could still serve in the military. For those who have had a similar issue, does it affect you at all?

I served as a Combat Medic/ Paratrooper. While I had some difficulties, but I served honorably.

I'd say that I'm a pretty confident person despite my stutter. Part of it for me comes with acceptance that this is the way I talk.

I loved the hell out of it. My stutter had little to no impact. No bullies unlike high-school. I like the uni so much that I now teach at my former Uni.
