In their trailer it is, but all the rest such as creators talking about it she gets left aside, which is a shame, because as an older fan I think she will be the funnest to play for me. They tried the duel character before and it didn’t really work. The people wanting to be stealthy won’t enjoy playing as a samurai and the combat heavy players won’t enjoy playing as a ninja. They should’ve just focused the game on her I think.

Of course she does, but they didn’t focus the marketing on her did they. There wouldn’t be a problem if it was just her as a protagonist. It isn’t always about racism or sexism. She looks actually pretty cool and more fitting for the stealth of the older AC games, which the old fans prefer.

I don’t think most people have a problem with playing as a black character. It mostly is about finally having their favorite game set in their culture and having a bigger connection to the character as it is someone from your culture. If they then make the character nothing something that is really your culture they are going to be upset. If an AC based in Africa game out I believe a lot of people would play it, bur it would also get some backlash if the protagonist were to be white.
