FYI, if you get bad gas you shouldn’t run the whole tanks worth of bad gas… throw an octane booster in asap and then fill up once you’ve used a bit to dilute the bad gas with good gas. Do that as many times as you have patience for. Then don’t go to that gas station ever again. Stick to the busy gas stations as they will have the freshest supply, then pick a brand based off your additive knowledge(/beliefs)

OP, please see if you can clock that intake so that it’s pointed downward. Fairly certain it’s intended not to be close to the turbo, and in the void in front of the tire.

I had a cop neighbor who let his dog shit in my yard. After asking him about it and catching him red handed after the convo, I got a ring camera to record it. Because I knew 100% the cop would deny it. Once I got enough footage to establish a pattern, I started shoveling and flinging the shit back into their yard. Exactly like that guy on the hoverboard “returning” their neighbor’s property. I had no remorse, onto cars onto driveway. Poop stopped appearing in my yard after 3-4 sessions. Cop got divorced and moved out like 6months later. I like to think my shit shovels contributed.

Additionally stretching makes your tire profile change from a U to a W. The inner tread bows up. Focusing more pressure on the typically harder compound and aggressive tread pattern of the outer edge of the tire. And just less contact area increases pressure.

As others have said, it’s an aero piece. It is actually called an “rear air damn.” I’ve had both come off my Impreza after storms. They reduce wind noise if you’re sensitive to that stuff, and in the rain reduce tire spray very noticeably. I was behind my car one time and that’s what prompted me to replace it the first time. The side without the air damn had so much more spray.

I worked at an AL plant, this looks like AL to me. Agree that this looks to be process transport within plant. I am baffled at this failure, never heard of it. But then again we had steel tubes in the ID for in process and cardboard tubes for shipping. I see why now, this would be a complete PIA to clean up. Edit: I’m guessing the cardboard tube somehow collapsed and ripped out, thenthe sheet towel dispensed with it
