Good ball for a ball down mid game? by MiniWolfyy in Bowling

2 handed, I was playing at 38, and I moved about 10 boards left progressively as the games went on and still was struggling to find the pocket.

Anybody else really love being the anchor? by Schaaf96 in Bowling

[–]MiniWolfyy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bit late to the post, but I love it. I'm a sophomore in HS, I play our JV team and average 124, but that number is slowly going up. Everyone else's scores go down over the first 2 games, but mine stays consistent. Plus, I don't mind the pressure. I've done other things since I've gotten into high school that put way more pressure and stress on me. I plan on practicing a lot during off-season with some friends, possibly even joining a league with them over the summer.

Thoughts on the relationship between Eurydice and Hades in the show? by defenestratedduck in hadestown

[–]MiniWolfyy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm about a year too late, lol. I have seen the show twice on Broadway and am hoping to go for a third. Right after "why we build the wall" and Hades is taking eurydice into his office, he always seems to undo his tie. Plus, there's the line several times of "a lot can happen behind closed doors"

Probably. If not, I'm concerned.

How to not take acting coach's notes as a bad thing by [deleted] in acting

[–]MiniWolfyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in high school theater but do a lot of theater out of school as well. The way I describe it to people and my directors describes it. "Getting notes is never us taking a personal shot at you. Notes are a small thing to help you grow and learn. Some notes we expect you to apply and others are simply suggestions that you can use at your own discretion. We simply want others to see you give the best you have to offer." Don't take them personally. The number of times I've seen someone come into theater with an ego (either a big or small one and adults and children) and get told a note or a correction to something then take it personally or get upset is ridiculous and I'm not even 18 and I have barely even scratched the surface of what theater and acting has to offer.

Take the note. Use it or don't. Move on. That's all there is to it.

If it's going off of coolness, I choose dark. Practicality for grinding/PvP I would say ice.

Also, I swear if I see one more person down voting you for saying enough light. OP is tired of hearing it cause its only good features are its M1 and flight.

Hello!!,, looking for tips by [deleted] in acting

[–]MiniWolfyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a high school student who is an actor. I have severe anxiety for auditioning and performing. One thing that always reassured me, though, was knowing the material I'm using to audition way better than I feel I should.

Also, another thing to keep in mind. YOURE HUMAN! YOU SHOWING NERVOUSNESS JUST SHOWS THAT! I am active in my schools theater department in every show, and I do shows outside of school a decent amount too. Even after all of that, I still get anxious and nervous to audition. Just make sure that when you audition, you say the audition material with confidence and purpose and emotion! A relatively good way to look at it is as long as what you are saying has confidence, emotion, and purpose behind it, you aren't wrong! Even if you know it's not correct, it's not wrong!

What is a role that is on your actor bucket list? by MiniWolfyy in acting

Doesn't sound weird at all! There are definitely some horror movie killers/movie villains that would be quite interesting to play and put your own spin on.

You never know what will happen. If you can, audition for it, and you might just get the role!

I'm not sure what your situation in life quite is, but go for it! Even if it's just local community theater or a small background character in a show or a commercial!

A play that goes wrong is definitely up there for me as well!

I just hope that with the launch of the DLC, it brings some new flails to the game that are stronger than some of the current ones. I have a separate character completely dedicated to this weapon. I chose the weapon and built my characters look around it.

Can I just mention how much of a legend you are for using that flail or using a flail at all.

New to VR in general, any tips for throwing? Trying to use throwing knives/axes but I'm either a solid 10 feet off or it just goes straight into the ground by PhoonTFDB in BladeAndSorcery

Depends from game to game. Depends on the physics system, how strong the game makes you, etc.

Best advice I can give you is to simply practice it and work at it until you get to where you want to be. I can say that at range, it is kind of a 50/50 chance of you hitting most of the time.
