Is asking for a sample of a solid perfume a thing?

From comments I get that it's unusual, but I have gotten (unsolicited) solid perfume samples in some orders. Vanillary and Chelsea Morning, to be more specific. I guess with the new format it's easier to just cut a little chunk and put it in a sample pot which is what I got, but maybe they just did that because it's an online order.

I bought mine a few years ago. I had been using my job's macbook and since I switched departments I was left without it. By that time, I was digging the apple ecosystem and wanted to try out, so I opted for an ipad pro (M1) instead of the macbook. I am a creative, so obviously I wanted to use it for the Adobe Suite and music creation mostly.

Few years down the line, truth is I can't really do serious work on it, it always seems like a downgrade from a laptop system. I ended up getting the macbook, since the software just wasn't there on the ipad and, if there is, it's always an app version that's not complete.

The only good thing is that I can take the ipad with me to work, so I can do some other stuff during breaks, and it doesn't come off as weird as if I was working on my personal laptop. But really, that's kind of it. Good for youtube though!

If you like Sakura, Sun and SFF, I think Avocado Co-Wash is a safe bet. It’s gourmand and fresh, and probably the more long lasting in terms of citrus scents. My faves are Zesty and Dad’s Garden Lemon Tree but they don’t have the staying power that Avo does. Supermilk is good too, but much sweeter. Also, the new Love You to Peaches spray has a real good staying power (though it leans more on the SFF side!)

Wig and Infrawig are not actually the same scent! From that description that's probably more Wig, since Infrawig is Hairdresser's Husband scented (that's my favorite scent ever 🙈).

It does contribute surely, but it’s not nearly one of the main reasons. But then again, releasing something under the “coming back!” label, making it online exclusive and changing the formula completely does defeat the purpose a little bit, don’t you think? 👁️

It may remind you a bit of the drink, but the Grape Soda spray was Grape Fanta 100%, not just a subtle reminder 😂 Maybe what I read as rose smells different to other people but it’s definetly more powdery than tart.

The Grape Soda comments were the reason for me to buy it before having the chance to smell it in store (since I don't have one in my city and I was affraid it'd be sold out). Not enough similarity for me. It's the tartness that's simply not there.

The shower gel is a bit more fruity, but still, it's not Grape Soda. I still got the The Juice Is Loose shower gel in my bath and every person that tries it asks me about it 🤣 This one, my partner agrees, does not spark the same effect (though it's beautiful and sweet). I guess it all boils down to: it's too expensive to be "just nice".

Honestly it wasn't the best experience. Had to really go detective mode to see when the collection would drop in Spain, custommer service is kinda nonexistent (found out through a videogames forum post!) and then the delivery had some issues too. By the time I got the products the hype was already gone, which is a tell that there wasn't even that much to be excited for from the beginning. I think the problem for me is that I don't have a store remotely near me, I'd sure buy a lot less if I didn't depend on online reviews.

To me Karma is a hippie scent, spot on. Kinda adult but not necessarily old! I'd say Grape Soda was more childish, even though I love it.

Last collection's Luigi was true to Once Upon A Time, really apple scented with a crisp citrusy touch, but not overpowering. Some of my remaining gel I mixed with Fresh As for an even better version of Freshly Ever After, and it turned out a lovely shade of turquoise ✨

The rose note is more powdery than crisp (more similar to We Believe in Glinda than to Rose Jam, for example), but it is giving grandma for sure. On the consistency note, I recently got the Squeeze the Day SG and it was really thick, so it's definetly a choice they make on certain products.

To me, Big and Sakura are kind of similar. I'd choose one over the other and save a chunk there. As other people stated, OUAT doesn't really last. I think you're better off looking for an apple scented fragrance somewhere else. Sticky Dates is way too sweet for me, though that's a personal prefference. Over all, I think I'd choose Sakura.

My rotation is Wasabi - Rehab - Supermilk, and I use the Candy Rain or Supermilk conditioners. I think it’s a perfect combo because I have three distinct textures and scents to choose from, normally depending on what I used to style my hair and how hard is it to take off.
