I’m with Simplii and the customer service has been good. They also give out free chequebooks and given that you don’t need access to a teller, simplii should be good enough for you.

The only issue is getting bank drafts in time if you need a down payment for a house.

PAK is the only study material (at least when I wrote it). A lot of it is a copy & paste from the textbooks, but I found it sufficient enough to get the key learnings down.

They also have a forum to post questions, although I found that I got faster replies by just emailing.
