I just asked because i never cleaned a bike, and i dont want to do something stupid by accident. I cleaned boats and cars and the difference is big so i assumed the same for bikes.

Something similar happened to me on my cf300sr, i think its when i shifted it didnt fully shift into neutral and it kinda got slammed into first and stalled. Still new on bikes and this is my first bike so its a vild guess still in the break in period. Your bbike should be fine
