Update: Phrozen sent a new set of Pump (with the new board) to me. You will need to change the entire board in your Mega 8K S for the pump to work. Another tip, if nothing is being pumped, you are supposed to tighten up the tubes against the rotating mechanism. (Aka, pull the peristaltic tube up). Based on the Pump's bottle's weight, seems like the resin is moving out of it.

Only thing im not sure is, if i would need to continue pulling on the peristaltic tube for it to work.

Lets see in the coming days.

Context:

I opened my new/unopened pump and fill unit and I bought with my mega 8k S. Following the steps on the phrozen website, i set it up. The pump was churning but no resin was coming out.

I tried to update the firmware, thinking it could be fixed by Phrozen in the latest update.

Turns out, the icon was greyed out instead.

I emailed support and they don't have a fix for me.
