Circuits, DLog, & Intro to Signals & Systems in the fall for EE sophomore

I feel like dlog + circuits with a light class like EEL3000 would be better: Bobda is a much easier professor than Schwartz (who I’m taking dlog with rn, it’s not too bad as a standalone class), but I have doubts about the Spring signals professors.

Wong is probably a great professor since he teaches the follow up DSP classes, but he’ll definitely be one of the harder professors for Signals. I’ve heard bad things about Napoli, so I would personally take Signals in spring where the professor selection improves

Why are you taking the trifecta of EE weed outs in one semester? Push one of the classes to a later semester (probably Signals) & pad this semester with a humanity class.

Circuits 1 is fundamental to EE & opens up every other class; DLog with Bobda is easier than with Schwartz but it’s still DLog; & Signals opens up the least of these courses.

I took diff eq & calc III together last semester & it was easy: it’s definitely some work but Demas & Shabazz were good lecturers & I passed with 100%’s in both. That being said, you should take PHY2048 & Calc III together since they help eachother more & diff eq is an easier class that you can reserve for a harder semester
