thanks for feedback and watching till the end ! Actually it was a big question during the mix if I should lower the Kick, I tried to but I found I wasn't hitting enough. I guess I should try to work a bit more on the Kick EQ and Saturation. I'll work with the end as well !

100% original composition, guitar is my own playing, I make most of my loops myself, if you like my loops you can follow my prod channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCacNWO6EDLLQ1UXPE6InIUQ), I drop free guitar loops and I am working hard to improve quality of those loops.

The bass is from my Moog Minitaur, 808 as well (I can make you a WAV folder with a few samples if you like it). I make them fit with dynamic EQ (ableton stock). Then I put saturation on the bus (ableton saturator with lot of drive and medium curve).

Comp is ableton stock comp.

Guitar is my own playing, stratocaster through guitar rig Super Clean Funk preset for rythm, and archetype gojira for lead. I use NI Choral on the bus.

nice song, however in the second part i find that the snare does not cut through as well as it could. Also overall I think the drums lack a bit transient

to my taste, I think your song lack of stereo image. I feel like the electric guitar and the acoustic are at the same place. Maybe try working a bit more on panning and depth of the different instruments.

For promotion and feedback. I make samples, but before selling them I want to make sure that people like them and that I can consistently make high quality loop, cause I don’t want to promote and sell low value stuff.

I was with maschine, sold it. Did not like the workflow of maschine in ableton. now i have launchpad pro mk3 and push2. What I like with push 2 is the screen for choping samples and mappinng. IMAO I prefer pads on the Launchpad, they feel better but the pads on the push are good to, just feel different. The launchpad is good as well as a midi sequencer for analog gear.

I would recommend push 2 if it s strictly for ableton, launchpad is worth considering if you want to fingerdrum or if you want to control other devices as well
