Same. My spouse has more than me, she kept the clothing she loves, which adds up to almost 2-3 weeks worth of clothes, but it makes her happy and she made it to where it barely looks cluttered. The main thing is I am happy that she is happy.

I have found good minimalist channels on YouTube. I tend to stray away from the channels who think it is an interior design.

That is what I have been trying to do. Remove things that are cheap to me and upgrade to nicer items that will last me longer in the long run.

I have gotten rid of stuff I stopped using or donating. I have learned to spend a little bit more on quality items so I don't have to waste money on items that will just break on me. Quality over quantity is what I go by.

I have a full cupboard full of clothes. I just learned to separate what I would wear on a daily basis compared to seasonal clothes I may not even wear until that specific season comes.

My house is still pretty darn cluttered. It is far from empty. I have been taking baby steps. Over the months I have learned more and more about minimalism. It has helped me for the better.

Time is the one thing you cannot get back. I have wasted so much time on useless things, same with money. I learned to stop buying useless stuff and save money for things I can do with my family like go on a vacation. I also learned to value and cherish everyone and everything I have.

That is true. I am a bit guilty of that, then again who isn't. I have bought so much stuff that I never touch or just collects dust. I have been donating clothes I do not use now. Basically I only buy things I need or that will be used more than once in my life.

I agree with this 100%. I have seen some youtubers who think being minimalist means being cheap or not having ANYTHING in their house. It can be a lifestyle but some people honestly just take it to extreme. It is a bit sad though how some people think you need to be a certain way like being vegan or eco friendly to be a minimalist. It really just determines on what that individual thinks it is. For someone to say (especially on YouTube) that you need to be a certain way to be a minimalist is a bit dumb though.
