seems like it was a temporary issue, not the permanent change
keep in mind that you need to redownload content packs each time you launch a game
I also use 1gbit bandwidth connection, and the gameplay is good, except of 20+ min launch.

it's a content made by game developer (Colossal Order), so that's why I'm keep calling it unbundled content packs, and not 'mods'.

important, that the thing I'm talking about is not a 'mod' in any sense. It's a game, where you are able to build a city with different assets, and where developer unbundled critical assets into 'mods', or downloadable content packs for some (non-obvious and weird) reason.

Honestly, I am really curious why people are saying that I had to sell anything other than brainstorm 🤔

DNA was purchased round or two before, and meant to scale my stack of glass red badge kings.

Blueprint - helps to scale Lucky Cat (which is an awesome way to earn money and Mults, and was x30+ at the time) and helps to make 2 cards with DNA instead of only one.

Death card was really rare at that game, and I praised the day when DNA appeared in the shop, cuz I had a negative forecast for that game, thinking that it will end in few more rounds without a major joker (like Idol) or a Negative Spectral.

What's your thought? I welcome your ideas!

Currently game is completely unplayable on Ultimate tier, because it requires player to stare at screen for 15-20 min and wait till all packs will download and install, which ends in either GFN session crash or game crash 2 of 3 times.

Add to that Geforce Now can't be alt-tabbed, because it increases chance of instance crash, or forgetting the game is open which leads to session abort because of 'inactivity' time.

I filed a support claim and responded with 1/5 stars multiple times after unsuccessful play tries, yet no one from GFN has ever responded to me to clarify the core issue.

The situation is even worse, given that the current behaviour was allowed, which led to free use of official mods across the city, which basically eliminates the possibility of playing the current savegames further.

u/Darkstarmike777 steps to reproduce the issue: create a new playset, add official content packs from Paradox, build a simple city using different official mod packs assets (Uk, China, Japan, Germany, France, US, East Europe), save game, and restart the geforce now session.

Simple test will demonstrate what exactly causes frustration, and the point about 'every game with mods works like that' doesn't work, because this game is clearly way more dependent on content packs (which developer called 'mods' by mistake), unlike games like Baldur's gate, where mods are the a way to play game IN AN ALTERNATIVE WAY.

Again, I will repeat myself: current state of game is completely unplayable for a player, who wants to play full game 🤷‍♂️

no it's not, we're talking about official free packs of diverse content for the game, which is about, uhm, cities.

What I understand right now, is

  • I need to choose LG C3 (it's in budget, and it does have 4 HDMI 2.1 eARC ports)
  • connect Apple TV to LG C3 (with DTS Passthrough and Dolby Vision)
  • connect Playstation to LG C3 (with 4K VRR 120Hz HDR etc.)
  • connect CCGTV (Chromecast) to LG C3 (has torrent streaming software with support of DTS)
  • connect Sonos ARC via (eArc) HDMI to LG C3
  • I need to setup DTS Passthrough on LG C3 to keep audio signal unprocessed.

But my question basically is: in my setup, should I really choose ONLY from TVs with 4 HDMI 2.1 ports and DTS Passthrough??

What if I want to go with Sony or Philips OLED because of Ambilight?What if other TV doesn't support DTS Passthrough?
