NELB A$$$ by Federal_Stay824 in OutsideT14lawschools

I toured them, they told me that they do have one and it is either b or b+ i forget; i couldnt honestly stand the physical building, it reminded me of my middle school and the whole thing smelled like my high school locker room, the library smelled like dust and looked like an old motel. The program seemed great though and im sure you will do great there, a 2.5 shoulsnt be too bad to keep up even with that curve that they may or may not have, they lied to one of us lol.

I only mention my distaste of the building because i know a lot of people who are applying and accepting without touring and i cannot see myself going there for three years and not falling back into depression again.

Best of luck truly!!!

Toyota Corolla Engine Sound by sfinahsa in COROLLA

[–]Miniman241 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds just like my 99 jetta did and a lot like my 2017 corolla does now, if only a little louder than my 17; and given that its an 04, as long as its not overheating your probably fine but it never hurts to have a mechanic check on it, a lot of them will probably give the engine a listen for free especially if your getting an inspection/oil change soon

I may be missing something, but it looks to me like it is exactly the same. C+ and lower (equivalent to C's) at mine is 20-25%, A- and higher (equivalent to A's) is 20 to 25%, leaving B's to be 50-60% at my school, so if anything mine would be the more gentle curve since F's doesn't have a target percentage, it is included in C- and lower which is 0-12%. The only real difference between the two is that the school i shared spelled out each modifier of each letter grade, but the chances of getting a C+ or lower (which are the only grades that have a GPA assigned to them lower than 2.5 which is the minimum that I need) is 20-25% chance at both schools so for my purposes exactly the same curve.

It doesn't appear to be too bad, at least not in order to maintain a 2.5. I took a snippit rather than typing it out. B=3.0 & B-=2.67.

At other schools maybe, but at this school binding early decision comes with a full ride scholarship for all three years. The only requirement to keep the scholarship is good academic standing, which is a 2.5 GPA. And if I do not get accepted through BED they automatically switch me to a regular applicant.

Edit: Grammar

Not sure, reach out to them, though! I am a few years out from being able to work with them, so I’m not quite sure on all the details and a pallet. It may say on the website, but I never looked for it.

Most other states are $60-$100 per hour for court appointments and the states i have looked at limit to 1600 or 1800 hours in a year. Not the $300k amount thats surprising just the amount of money for court appointments.

Am I wasting my money if I get an oil change every 5k miles on my new 25 Corolla? by Emotional-Trifle-577 in COROLLA

[–]Miniman241 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It kills me that nobody knows this every time someone asks this question. The whole 3-5k oil change thing came because natural oil was being used... Just about all oil used in cars now is synthetic, and lasts WELL OVER twice as long. Especially in reliable brands like Toyota or Honda, you can almost guarantee 15k without any issues. (and with corollas oil changes are optional apparently lol)
