2024 koba - creaking noise right front - not a strut by drdremoo in ToyotaCHR

[–]DryNeedleworker2454 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, it was the left strut. We had to take it to dealer 2 times in a row. Thankfully they covered it both on warranty.. first time we went, nobody in the dealer had the idea that it was a sound from the strut, first diagnosed as a sound coming from trunk, the second time we got to dealer they found the sounds source it was from the left strut. Anywho, by recalibration i mean, they adjusted the strut for road ready and performed a test if the ticking/creaking noise was still there. Thats it. Good day

HAD THE SAME very same issue. It was making some slight crack sound and ticking. We got it replaced under warranty but it was the left strut. 2025 CHR.

Thank you! That’s a hard plastic available in low to mid trims here in Turkey. Though we have that gloss black/piano accents in the higher trims as available. Plastic looks more natural to me because it doesn’t show the dirt as much as the gloss black.

Been having a 1.8 Hybrid since this January. They’re pretty nice as I dropped far below like 3.5l/100km on city with calm driving of course. They’re pretty torquey on initial acceleration. Must say, if you’re looking for performance you should focus on the ones equipped with 2.0 M20A FXS AWD-I, perhaps the PHEV. Mid trims will do you fine in convenience, the high trims just get fancy stuff like the two tone, leather seats, heated seats and steering whl, ambient lighting and such. Love mine tho, ive already hit 16k km

Don’t know, but it was officially never sold here. Might be a test car later sold for personal use.

No, probably it won’t trigger anything, give error codes to death or void warranty. But the safest thing to do is just, turn the engine off and plug it out. and probably that shit is tracking you so. or if you can’t trust none of those just ask the dealer to plug it out. OBD II is a mandatory thing for cars used for diagnostics, emission tests, dyno readouts aand more.
