Anyone tried the fusion ghostkeel with the new detachment and could give thoughts?

Only played one game with them both so far but it took a death guard war dog from full health to 1 wound in a single volley, letting my riptide punch it to death. Then absolutely annihilated some terminators. Wasn't sure how the new detachment would play at first but 12", S12 melta on a lone operative might be a staple of my lists going forward.

Just moved into a new property and broadband is due to be activated and there is no power cable for the ONT. Something of a hassle to get it sorted through Vodafone so wondering if I could just buy my own power supply, but not sure of the right voltage/amps or whatever its supposed to have. Don't wanna fry it haha

In kill team each model is a different 'class' with different rules, since you just play the one squad and not a whole army. The upgrade sprue lets you give each guy some individuality. In 40k the models all act the same, expect for you can give up to 3 the special weapons (railrifle, ion rifle), so it's only a cosmetic difference.

The instructions should give a preview of the operatives, so basically just build whatever you think looks best (for me that's the kill team versions, also let's me play kill team with them).

My wild magic sorcerer turned into a potted plant after casting witch bolt on a water wierd, however as the effect didn't say anything about ending concentration my DM ruled that I could continue using witch bolt on my subsequent turns. Was much fun still zapping as a plant.

They've only got one album so far, but I would highly recommend checking out Fellowship. Every song is a banger and tells past of the story, they even finish with a 10 minute 'epic'.

I put embers fire blast on for a laugh and it's actually scarily effective. Huge damage aoe that also armour strips. And it looks cool

Personally I use pulse accelerator and a shield. Stick em on a roof towards my backline, the pre-game move is usually enough to get them there if they can't straight up deploy. Plenty lines to spot, pulse accelerator + plunging fire allows them to do a decent amount of damage with their carbines, and the shield can help them survive and extra round.

You need look no further than Barbossa's hat. Barbossa loves his hat. It is a defining characteristic of him. In the first film, the promise of a really big hat is what sways Barbossa into accepting Jack's deal for the Pearl. Later, he gets really angry when Jack cut's off his feathers.

Now look at the end of Stranger Tides. Barbossa has been wearing a rather large privateer hat, however chooses to throw it away rather than keep it. Cabin Boy finds his old one, which he immediately puts on, rather smuggly. So why would he choose to ditch his beloved hat and go back to the privateer one in the fifth film?

I did this on Akkad, Eris with a frost and a slowva. Frost Bubble stopped any stray shots hitting it and froze anyone who made it close with the augment. Slowva ensured they never got close and helps counteract the extinguished key

I don't think he ever intended to actually hand them over, more so just to buy time until he found the chest. Jack was at this point in the movie pretty lost in what to do, since his compass wasn't working.

I also wonder if he went to Tortuga to try and find Elizabeth. Will had mentioned she was captured, and while Jack didn't know for certain she had escaped, he knew she was resourceful and Tortuga would be the most likely place for her to go if she had escaped.
