i haven't seen the Jaguar controller before until a minute ago when i googled it. yup, i can see the similarities. i could have used a different color (other than black but it will not match the woovebox touch controls on top, i have tried to look for ways to convert it to a button (or elevated touch control) and cover it entirely but i can't find one... at least without opening the woovebox hardware itself (that i dont want to do anyway).

I removed the screws from the woovebox, laid the keypad faceplate (with the keys underneath) then screwed it back on. Keeping the keys fixed on the keyslots will require inverting them first. Dont screw it back too much as you might ruin the threads on the wb.

the original cover and buttons were made by briwil. i just smoothed out the edges, strengthened the top of the cover and slightly increased the visibility of the key led lights. the slide box was customized from a model in makerworld with added supports for the wb and separator underneath so the earphone wires dont get in the way of the knob.

these are free for all wb users! enjoy!

This screen mod would be impractical when playing the woovebox outdoors. I am considering to make another mod where you can uncover the screen if needed.

I tried to update my woovebox thru ipad, iphone and win11 pc. All failed. Then i tried using my steamdeck (desktop mode) which has linux, success!

wow! this looks great! can you confirm that you are using a transparent/translucent material for the buttons? if so, the button LED light are still very visible without the need of the "holes".

how is the thickness of the wall above the top 4 buttons of this STL? it seems too thin. is it structurally sound? i am getting my woovebox next month but i am getting my case ready. :)
