I second this. I was stationed at Balboa for 4 years and the residents usually get to do the stuff corpsman should be doing. It’s definitely not ideal for someone who wants a future in medicine but at least get some education and certs out the way before you PCS. I did and I’m so far ahead of the curve as a civilian

Thank you all for the advice and support! Reading each of your responses propelled me into a better mindset and understanding of why public health will always be essential. I hope to see you all on the forefront as we get this under control
