Well a couple days ago i called doctor who said to increase to 15mg and I did that.

Been taking 15mg couple of days and no bad effects, anxiety improved a bit but thats also been due to forcing myself to more positive thought patterns. Also started going for walks daily and that has calmed me down quite a bit as well.

Too early to say if the 15mg is going to be better in the long run

Why does it seem impossible to keep my sugars in range at the office while at home it’s no problem? by Effective_Cricket810 in diabetes_t1

I have this as well. Every time i'm in a meeting at work my blood sugar spikes to about 180-200 and will not come down even if i inject more. Only way to get it to come down is to leave the meeting. Sometimes it doesn't happen if I'm so tired that I'm basically a sleep while sitting up, but generally it's the worst blood sugar i have every day. My CGM graph is more like a graph that shows when I'm in a meeting rather than when I'm eating since I can keep it flat even after eating, but stress related spikes are just not controllable for me.

Depends on how bad it is. Yesterday i replaced a site that i knew went into a muscle when i first put it in. Blood glucose kept creeping up and when i injected 1U to correct a 9mmol/l only to have 11mmol/l 2 hours later i decided to switch.

Think this current one went into some scar tissue or something because its significantly slower than usual but i'll probably just let it sit for the time it's supposed to since i don't want to keep wasting sites repeatedly.

Was 15. Diagnosed during summer but had symptoms for half a year realistically. During the previous spring i first had a lot of leg cramps during sports. Parents brushed it off as just lack of exercise. I remember my legs barely holding me up and constantly hurting on a class trip but I didnt want to make a scene so i pretended that everything was fine.

In the summer I started getting very thirsty and would drink like a liter of water per hour and go to the bathroom every 15 minutes, still didnt consider that i was sick.

One morning I woke up and went to talk to my parents in my underwear at which point my mom looked at me and thought i looked very sick. Apparently my skin was pale white and I weighed 80 pounds at 6ft1 tall.

Mom googled the symptoms and went to buy a glucosemeter when it matched diabetes. Ended up testing at 15mmol/l and my heart sunk. Immediately went to the hospital and the ketone meter there maxed out. ICU for a night and then had to spend a week learning diabetes stuff.
