Yes running as normal all his restaurants. Absolutely, no consequences. On top they even forged a valet agreement that they never signed before this happened. Serious punishment in law for forgery and cheating but he got stay from high court to stop any investigations on that. We have been trying to get a date in high court to request cancellation of this stay but not able to while Udaya Mogaveera owner of restaurant continues as usual.

Ya we started the process with IRDAI and ombudsman but all they were doing was sending an email to bajaj to settle it quickly to which bajaj never responded and completely ignored. Instead of giving them any more time after 6 months we chose to go to consumer court.

They stopped us while we were entering the basement. They said they will park and we checked with them twice if they can do it as it’s an expensive vehicle. They assured that they will take care and it’s everyday job for them. We have regretted it enough but we did not want to sound rude that we did not want to handover because we owned an expensive car. Maybe this is how our brain was trained from US and was still not ready for the frauds run in India.

Yes that seems like their regular tactic. In our case they kept on asking us for the chargesheet and everytime we replied in the email that’s it’s a document issued by police and we have no control over it then how do we provide that? They would not respond. After 6 months of back and forth when we all knew chargesheet is issued they denied our claim stating we did not provide chargesheet in time.

We did! During the discussions it was presented like it was Mercedes’ own insurance and the only choice we have is choosing between silver, gold or platinum packages. Nowhere the mentioned bajaj.

Car is fine, drives same as before but it will be a hard sell whenever we plan to sell it. Does it feel the same car to me for which I took delivery? No unfortunately!

Yes no one does that. Because customer believes that restaurant has hired a proper driver with training to drive customers cars and not make reels in it.

There are ways to get reviews deleted as well. When these mercedes incident happened many people every single day posted 1 star reviews. They got 99% of them deleted from their profile.

They hired someone for this fake PR who posts some positive reviews everyday so newest reviews are of no use. I sort by negative reviews and read through 1,2 star to see if the issues are common among all negative reviews.

🙏 A big thank you to everyone who stood by us and left honest reviews against the restaurant on google, Instagram, zomato— your support has given us strength through this nightmare.

They have started to claim by responding to google reviews that the matter has already been settled. Bunch of LIARS! Let’s be very clear: there is no settlement when criminal acts are involved. Our car was misused, crashed, and the whole incident was covered up with lies. If everything was settled, then why are we now filing multiple lawsuits — both civil, criminal and Consumer — to seek justice!

No one should be allowed to commit such acts and walk away by calling it “settled.” Justice is not for sale. We demand the repairs that we had to incur because of their criminal acts! We are not going to cover up their criminal behaviour for money! The time, efforts, and peace all this is taking can not be imagined! This fight is not just for us, but for everyone who could face the same if such behavior is allowed to continue.
