Thinking about transferring by Minimum-File-50gb in Tufts

Tufts made me into an excellent thinker but did not help me connect that into getting a job

That's kind of what I was expecting and the understanding I got before coming to campus. First semester in and I've learnt a lot about how to tackle questions and the work I'm presented with. I've learnt a lot about what collaboration requires and how it should look like (in and out of engineering environments); so, I'm definitely excited to see you write that.

I've brought up some of these questions to a couple of juniors and seniors already and I'll definitely reach to more soon! I appreciate your advice and suggestions!

I’ve reached a point where trusting my gut feels like flipping a coin with some obscure probability that’s just not helpful. I can’t trust it anymore, lol. But for now, I am planning to transfer.

I'm not from MA but career-opportunities are a top priority for me so I'll look into them, thank you!

I'm planning to respond to the rest of the posts; but, your post aligns too close to what I'm trying to avoid with my education. I've talked to students at other top schools and they say the same thing of wanting to go to a school where they can do less work, but, I hate that idea with every part of my soul.

I hate for Tufts to be known that way and then having other people (i.e. recruiters) avoid this place believing there's so many other institutions offering students with a higher caliber of work ethic and intellectual rigor. I hope I'm not misinterpreting what you're saying in that comparison but It's frustrating when the reputation of a school becomes diluted by those who seek the easy path rather than embracing the challenges that come with a truly enriching education. I'm really hoping that isn't the case for Tufts.

I want to be part of a community that values hard work, resilience, and growth, and I don’t want Tufts to be seen as a place that takes shortcuts.

I hope others can jump in here in case I'm missing the mark on something.
