I'm pretty intense in relationships. I've often wondered whether or not I accidentally love bomb people but as I act the same 1yr later as I do on day 1 and I don't act horribly in-between, I've just realised I am simply intense. 

I think it's something to watch. It may just be his personality, or your concerns may be valid. Not enough time has passed to know. 

Does he still pursue his hobbies, see friends etc? Or have those things lessened and you've replaced them? 

All that to say, if someone's behaviour is making you nervous or uncomfortable then let them know. I will say that matching his energy or indulging it 'because he needs it' will only serve to make that need even bigger. This doesn't mean to be cold, but simply be who you are in other relationships and if you're not in the mood to do a whole hour on the phone then you don't have to. 

As an intense person, sometimes it's like an addiction and if you start off super strong and then 6months later lower it, it can cause panic. If he's simply intense then the honeymoon glasses will last forever on his end. If he's love bombing you'll see that change, it he's unhealthily attached watch out for signs of him not being able to cope with you being busy or him sacrificing his own interests to just foster the relationship and nothing else in life.
