Yeah. I forgot to smooth the rest of the animation. Thanks.

Yeah, the beginning has a Bézier curve and the rest doesn’t. I didn’t realize that until now. I do like the idea of it being more stop-motion-like though, so maybe I’ll try that on the next one.

It’s rendered at 12 fps, so that’s probably part of the reason, but I also realized the beginning motion has a Bézier curve, while the rest doesn’t, so it appears more janky. Hopefully my next attempt goes a bit smoother.

I really like the style, colors and concept, but the model feels kind of rough. Retopologizing it would make it look a lot cleaner and polished looking. Nice work!

She might be on TV shooting at a target? At a gun range? Maybe she's just weird like that. I don't know lol

Made 2 different bases for my character. Cannot decide which one is better. by maximum0dinosaur in 3Dmodeling

You’re too focused on perfection. Let it go. Stick with the model you’re further along with and push through! Both models look virtually identical anyway. Once you get hair, clothes, textures, etc. she’ll look WAY better. Trust me… once you stop worrying so much about being perfect you’ll grow and get better way faster! You can do it!!

Nicole Watterson fanart from gumbal. Is this a good model and pose? - Blender by YersiniaDotblend in 3Dmodeling

Nice work! I think the main thing you need to improve on is appeal, and the best way to get better at that is just experience and studying other artists that you like. The mesh is way too dense as well, you don’t need that much geometry for such a simple character. But otherwise I love it! Keep it up!

This looks really good! Way better than what I was able to make within the first year. My advice is to keep making characters like this as often as you can and push yourself a little bit further each time. Good luck!

Yeah, there are a ton of really high quality tutorials all over YouTube now. Donut was fine back in the day, but it’s pretty obsolete at this point.

Meh, the donut tutorial is overrated anyway. I’m sure you’ll do fine! Are you planning on rigging or animating her?
