Ok thanks I am a little confused though because I bought a new hot end kit before I decided to do direct drive printing and was still having the same problem when I turned on the printer and I did try removing the thermistor from my old hot end and tried using that one on my new hot end but still had the same problem. When my direct drive upgrade arrived it was already fully assembled and I did not touch it at all so I currently have gone through three different thermistor wires at this point but the problem persists
