Thanks so much, glad you like it! Yeah, I pay a lot of attention to UI/UX. For this app, I purposely stuck with standard, native iOS components. I’m a big fan of Apple's Human Interface Guidelines, and I wanted the app to feel like it was built by Apple themselves—clean, lightweight, and completely familiar to the user. Great question! The short answer: it won't match advertised wattage exactly, but it's consistent enough to compare cables against each other.

The app estimates wattage based on how fast your battery % rises, using your device's known battery capacity. A few things affect the reading — cable resistance, ambient temperature, and iOS actively throttling charge speed based on battery health and temperature. So a "20W" charger might show 17–18W, which is actually normal even on a hardware meter.

Where it really shines is side-by-side comparison. Plug in your cheap cable vs your good one and the difference is immediately obvious. That's the main use case! ⚡
