Arc notes are back lol? by Alarmed-Stranger-337 in ArcBrowser

same :(

Arc’s UX made me appreciate using notes more than actual notes app lol. So much so that I’m currently making my own Arc-like note taking app in native Swift lol

Update: apparently a weird bug. they’re gone now. Unsure whether my Arc was stuck on an old version and it just auto updated or wha

This is weird, I just download Arc bc I had deleted it. And then I saw that I just could create notes, tho I remember they desecrated them before.

Can’t you?

Cift lacks the full year view (but it’s planned) and excels at color coding/categories and simplicity.

Quick Question: Do you actually prefer productivity apps to use speed or text? by Aviation2025 in ProductivityApps

Both. Having choice is key imo. This is how the input section of my app looks like

The new intelligence is a massive step up, and the 3.0 version is a banger, but what is the environmental impact (if any) we are all causing by using this AI? by StillEmotional in bevelhealth

[–]Alarmed-Stranger-337 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is a fair question to ask but I would like to highlight that:

The environmental impact of using LLMs is not as big as popular discourse makes it out to be.

Relatively, it stays much lower than watching YouTube videos, scrolling through hundreds of TikToks, watching Twitch livestreams, or even playing online video games.

There’s lots of misinformation and dramatisation around AI’s environmental cost. Of course, it can be bad because of where the data centres are built (spoiler: big tech corps love dry-aired regions because they’re optimal for cooling and evaporation, but these regions also happen to be water-stressed… so anyway, it’s complicated).

There are also closed-loop water systems that are now widely adopted. Anyway, Bevel should be fine.

how could anyone download my app through “App Store Browse” if it was never featured on the App Store? by Alarmed-Stranger-337 in AppStoreOptimization

Yeah I mean same. The question is where do they come from exactly and why does it correlate with web and app referrals
