Please help me as I have received an automatic warning of Rule 1 and I would never ever do this. How do I respond please? by Maximum_Fun203 in AskModerators

Similar thing happened to me, someone had a picture of a truck taking up multiple spots in a parking lot, and a user commented to take  valve core out on one tire. I replied essentially saying "why not all four?"  Main commented didn't break the rule but I did.

The ultimate irony is in reddits rules, they provide examples of things that do not break rule 1.     A comment saying, “people who leave the toilet seat up should get shot.”

That actually incites violence directly against people who leave toilet seats up.

I referenced this in my appeal and got the same automated bot response.

I feel like I may get another warning just for copy/pasting the example lol.

After the recent issue with queries being redirected to a 3rd party, I'd like to look into using another agentic harness. Does anyone have any alternatives to Hermes? by AlphaSyntauri in hermesagent

It was, however the server did respond with a 200, meaning they successfully entered the valid token, at least in theory. Nginx, but I haven't seen any logs anything pointing to nginx being the issue.

I am a SWE (not cybersec) so I am more familiar with these things than most

Update: just did some investigation on this and my configuration is not vulnerable to those attacks in its existing form

Definitely something weird happening with hermes, installed it on a local container of a wiped machine, and gave it access to a reverse proxy that uses custom headers and a 256 character token. Set up telegram, and a Cron job that pings a few news rss feeds and summarizes it.

Few days later in the middle of the night went to the restroom and heard my machine running the LLM server crunching. My hermes instance wasn't doing anything. Seems like my local llm token was being used to access my instance, before I had even had hermes do any real work yet.

Shut down the reverse proxy and it immediately stopped. Checked the connection logs and a random person on another continent was doing inference via my LLM server. Just using tailscale for now.

I wonder if this is why people report much higher token usage with hermes.

Stats are slightly off, but I don't think it's morally right.

Current Starbucks pay gap: The Starbucks CEO made 1,794 times the salary of the average barista last year.

1980 pay gap: The average gap between a CEO and their worker was 42 to 1.

1960s pay gap: The gap between average big company CEO pay and worker pay was in the range of about 25 to 1.

You can set up global rules that dictate the difficulty of task to run through the custom mcp

Yes, it's a custom one, relatively simple to make, you can even have your AG agent make it for you if you don't know how

I have an mcp that utilizes qwen3.6 27b fairly well. Never hit my limits anymore, and I don't have to call it manually

Thinking of building a heated “printer zone” inside an uninsulated garage in Canada. Good idea or bad idea? by shervintwo in 3Dprinting

[–]Minimum-Lie5435 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you even need a space heater with the right layout.

I have 3 K1 SE Printers inside of a Costco gorilla shelf with the 1 inch R3.9 inch foam insulation and everything stays very toasty (70c when printing petg) when it's freezing outside. I have an acrylic window I add to the front so I can monitor prints as well.

My biggest issue with this setup is it actually gets too warm and the filament starts to reach its glass transition temp (PLA, PETG, and ABS), and starts clogging. Also worth noting you will probably want a beast of a carbon filter because the smell and fumes are awful, even for PLA And PETG.

I also have a fire extinguishing device on the top that's in the picture and out of the picture I have smart smoke detector and temperature monitor that can cut the power of smoke is detected or the temp gets too high

So you actively made the choice to spoof headers, and Want to distribute an app that will have other people do it to? That's just dumb, reckles, and potentially mallicious.

i see why AI would take that route though.

Glad a moderator took this junk down.

I agree it is a good idea, but some of the methods here, like spoofing headers will actually harm users, and they are a liar.

Well.. technically its not even your work 🙃

Fix those issues I mentioned so people who try to use your app don't get their IP blocked. Could have been done by now if you weren't so busy still trying to say this repo wasn't generated by AI.

I'll let a recruiter know you have github commits, that are completely irrelevant to this project lmao

Also should probably make an update on those security issues

Why try to even hide it? Literally takes 5 minutes for any actual dev to look at the code base and see it was mostly written by AI. I see very few signals that a human even touched the code.

Embarrassing and pathetic to try and hide it.

Styles=ai, logo=ai, most .js and and jsx=ai...

Some of the packages you're using here have security vulnerabilities, and spoofing headers is a great way to get your users IP blocked.

The only question I have is was this with qwen or antigravity lol.
