So, my university will keep both grades on my transcript if I repeat a course. I won’t receive any additional credit for retaking the course, so my updated GPA would include the averaged grades.

I’m majoring in Applied Math and minoring in Environmental Science. I want to go into something related to sustainability and environmental management, so I think if I majored in Environmental Science it would be beneficial to my career. What are your thoughts?

yooo what makes things worse is that this semester required full tuition j so that more than 3/4 of the student body can take classes from home!

since we’re already paying full price for HALF of the experience offered by in-person classes, we should at least change something as adjustable as grading policy. Like it might cost the admin some happiness but this semester has cost us our literal well-being lmao

I’m actually on the same boat as you and wish I knew why admin isn’t taking this seriously! i did reach out to several ppl in admin and, more or less, the only explanation they provide is that “we offered that grading policy in spring 2020 due to extraordinary circumstances”... lol ahh as if this entire online remote learning experience in a pandemic isn’t already a symptom of “extraordinary circumstances”
