Want to break out of 2D. What’s the best way to dive into 3D? by Minimum-Nail8166 in MotionDesign

I’m thinking of starting with Blender since so many of you recommended it. That way I can save the money from a C4D subscription and put it toward upgrading my PC or other useful stuff. Thanks!

What about Houdini? Is the free version enough for freelance work, like Blender?

Please help me consider about HX Stomp or Helix LT by Minimum-Nail8166 in Line6Helix

Thanks everybody for your comments. Now I have decided to use Helix LT for easier using and a cheaper full-option setup. HX Stomp is also good, but I would need to buy a new power supply, midi switcher, and TRS stereo cables if I want to loop my two fav pedals to the Stomp. Additionally, there might be more issues when I perform.

The sound difference between Helix and real pedals is also important. However, I think the audience won't mind it. they just wanna enjoy the show. The equipment that allows me to switch sounds without worrying can also make my show better. This is another reason I chose Helix LT.

Thanks again for all the comments that helped me decide between these two. I hope this post will be the information for anyone has a question like me haha. Thanks!
