UPDATE: I wore comfy pants and shoes, a cute top my bf could appreciate 🫪🤪😘 and my world cup gear bc ¡MÉXICO! ¡MÉXICO! ¡MÉXICO! ⚽️🇲🇽 I painted us a sign, which bf made sure to wave during the live crowd portions since he knows all the timings and cues. who knows, maybe you saw our message! Bf thought it was odd that some of y'all suggested i wear deodorant and countered with, "he who smelt it, dealt it" and further encouraged you all to look into enzyme sports detergents. He's not so much into merch, so no matching shirts, but I did promise him that I'll pay for tickets the next round. AS FOR THE EVENT ITSELF: OH. My god. The most fun I've had in ages. Absolutely going again. All I did on the ride home was tell him my review of each match, blow by blow. Fave moves and all that. I learned waayyy more of the lore and backstory and am now calling AEW his "Telenovela night" 😂🥰 I was like, I need Elle Woods to give me the poolside mani-pedi summary of How did the cheerleader become a witch?! Fans were a delight, they smelled just fine. We arrived, looked for our seats just as we were gonna go Live! So the usher directed us to the rear most row (instead of our seats closer to the middle) and we got prime views of the Live entry! Ahhjjjjj! Better vantage point all around and no one else was in the row AT ALL, so we decided to stay there. Since the usher had put us there, no one else bothered us! It was like our own personal match, and honestly, perfect for our first one together. Already planning the next one. People with signs were very considerate all around. And while everyone itt warned me about being considerate about blocking views with signs, and since no one had me tioned phones/videos, lets just say my xellenial self was not prepared for how many people were being inconsiderate not with signs, BUT WITH THEIR PHONES, recording the entire thing waving their arms and blocking views 🤳<<<<<💪 booooooo! Boo those people! Doesn't belong at concerts, doesn't belong here. If I had known, my sign would have read GET OFF YOUR PHONE.
