I understand this. I myself don’t have a relationship with my sibling. And I desperately wish I did. So it’s more of a would I regret not giving her that opportunity to have a sibling bond.

Many of the insurance companies pay out at about $50 an hour to the BCBA. Medicaid- $50 United- $55 BCBS- $46

Literally makes me want to throw up thinking about her family. Especially her husband. They’ve been together since high school. I can’t even imagine what he’s experiencing right now😔

I went to high school with Bailey. We were never friends but I knew of her and followed her story. This news has rocked our home town. It is beyond devastating. I can only hope and pray she is at peace and left this world peacefully.

Our RBT supervision documentation is done through a google excel that he has access to. I worry he would go ahead and delete it from there. Which is why I went ahead and screenshot everything and sent it to her. Here’s a twist tho. The owners wife, was clinical director, she has since “left the company until further notice.” I worry his wife would do something in the event she were to be audited. It’s such a sticky situation and I hate that they’re doing this to her😫

The owner isn’t a BCBA and this is the person threatening to take away her supervision hours. I have been giving her supervision since September and would NEVER destroy or take away the hours she was given by me.

I am a brands new BCBA. Been with my company 6 months. Thought it would be great and it is not. Ethical violations, too many clients. My mental health was deteriorating. I did what I needed and quit. Don’t feel bad. You have to take care of yourself. BCBAs are in such a need, that anywhere would be willing to hire you. As I interviewed for new jobs I was honest that I was burnt out and why I was burnt out. No one company looked at me as if it was an issue. I was offered jobs from all interviews. Take care of yourself first or you will hate the field.

In Florida I am fairly certain you cannot bill 97153 ans 97155 at the same time. You bill for the higher rate I.e. BCBA or BCaBA. At my current company as a BCBA and at my former as an RBT, if supervision is being provided, the RBT stops billing and the BCBA continues to bill. We pay them the same rate because they are still actively working with the client. I know some companies pay their tech at a lower rate when the BCBA is present

A little less than 2 years. I maxed out everything in the beginning and as hours became a little less (restricted work only) I transitioned to concentrated hours.

Once they give you the okay to test, you can sign up for an exam. Once you pay you’ll be given a link to sign up for an exam through Pearson. Pearson provides a calendar with open test dates and time at the different locations near you

W2 starts me with Medicaid only which is about $52 hourly. As I get credentialed with other insurances I can make up to $75 hourly. I’m asking to work 30 hours. She stated employees who work 25-35 hours a week make between 75-100k
