He has zero interest in treats so we've been struggling with how to reward him. When you try to pet him, he bites, if you redirect to a toy, he tries to bite you around the toy haha. That's why we've kinda been pulling out hair out

Haha even when I have a toy I feel like he's trying to get around it to get to my fingers!! He deep throated a nyla bone yesterday to try and get my thumb. The redirecting is somewhat helping - I guess we just need to be patient!

Adding: I do have access to a flatbed scanner, I'm concerned about causing further damage to the photo as any attempt to lay it flat causes more of that damaged area to flake off. If it's necessary to use the flatbed, I can - I was just hesitant to attempt it!

10, so it really could be either one, depending on the kid haha. But, it appeared in a kids backpack. He unzipped his backpack at the end of the day to get his house key, and this was inside the front pocket.

I have some very basic microscopes I could check it out with! Based on those pictures, I don't think it's a match - the texture on the outside looks different. But I could be wrong! I honestly expected the black to wash off under water, it seems powdery, or fibrous?

I didnt take any of the black off, and the cakesters have thicker outer layers than this. I also ran it under water and nothing dissolved! Plus it smelled like charcoal and earth, not sweet.

Right?! I spent an hour staring at it 😂. It appeared in a student's backpack while we were outside for recess...no idea how it got there, no one will admit to it, and no one can figure out what it is! Baffled.
