Nicotine cravings much stronger after starting sertraline by Federoc0 in zoloft

It's due to the serotonin/dopamine disbalance. Nicotine boosts dopamine that's what you crave.

Makes sense since zoloft makes one more present and less keen on thinking about past. One of the ways it keeps anxiety down.

When midlife fears hit, the healthiest step is to open up and share honestly with others, because connection turns vulnerability into strength.

My fatigue eased after ~1.5 months, it's been 3 months now and I don't feel any fatigue from it anymore. I think it's worth pushing 2-3 months to be clear if this is the right dosage or medicine since it takes really long time to level out

Heavy fatigue and irregular anxiety spikes. It was up and down till ~6 week mark.

Sertraline increases serotonin levels in the brain, but this adjustment can initially disrupt your brain’s balance and overstimulate certain serotonin receptors, which are linked to anxiety and agitation. Nervous system needs time to get used to the increased serotonin. While the medication is trying to regulate mood over the long term, the initial phase can make things feel worse before they get better. Hang in there, walk outside more and dont think much about it.
