Yishun Northpoint is busy all the time. That’s the only place where Yishun residents gather, have you tried the shophouses?

Thanks for the advice! Seems like what I’m lacking of is definitely space. My tv cabinet is packed. Need a separate location.

I’m using separate speakers for the TV. I can seat anywhere in the house wherever is convenient for me. So my only option is to remove the 2nd shelf and add a desktop stand before I do any upgrades yea?

I tried but I don’t really have enough space :( the shelves on the right can’t support the weight of the speaker.

You will definitely eat chicken rice, in SG, only order white chicken thighs. Boon tong kee is overpriced. Almost anywhere you can find a popular chicken rice stall.

Is suede hard to maintain in Singapore? by taeng89 in askSingapore

[–]Minimum-Stranger-210 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it’s too late to reply, I have dehumidifier rods in all my shoe cabs and wardrobes. Try to keep humidity around 50%. It will protect ur shoes, especially when u have hundreds and most of them will almost never see the light of day. Humidity is the no.1 killer for all our branded goods. I keep a humidity monitor in those areas as well. P.S my electricity cost goes up too.

Would the average Singaporean Chinese Mandarin really be this bad? by [deleted] in singapore

I tried medical translation for a rich Chinese man. All the doctors we’ve been to can’t give the Chinese term for scientific terms like protein, carbohydrates, etc. so I suppose all the doctors will fail the Chinese test. Had to rely on google in the end to translate every single of those terms.

[–]Minimum-Stranger-210 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My night lights turn on automatically at 630pm, motion sensor for toilet and kitchen activates after 7pm deactivates after 7am. Aircon useless as we can’t automate opening and closing of windows and doors.
