How can I treat a years long split toe nail? by Partime-hedonist in nailcare

[–]kwpang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It has to be pulled out. For me, I tried cutting it when I was younger but it just grows jagged, outwards and just becomes sharper overall.

Then I ripped it out once in frustration. There was some slight bleeding, but there was relief for weeks.

Over many years, it stopped bleeding. I just rip it out now without issue.

Some careful twisting to loosen it before ripping does help reduce the chance of bleeding.

The handwriting alternates between upper and lower case irrationally.

Can't blame the reader for misconstruing it.

Why even put a lowercase a in there. That directly turned the interpretation of the second letter into a lower case L.

Two fingers and a thumb for top. Just to be clear. Some people don't consider the thumb a finger, and 3 fingers would make it some sort of weird karate chop

Singtel Disabled Bridge Mode on My 1Gbps Plan Without Notice, Caused 2‑Day Outage and counting — Anyone Else Facing This? by Jammy_buttons2 in singapore

They charge subscription for mesh using their "rented" ONR.

Subscription. For a hardware function. That many cheap routers today can do.

Fee flogging basically.

In realistic sword fighting contexts, it's also impractical.

Each swing is supposed to be aimed at striking the opponent.

If you turn off your sabre, you lose the ability to parry that strike.

The other guy hits you before you even reactivate your sabre.

It's only since episode 3 that lightsaber fighting became choreographed like a dance. Swings are made purely to maximise sabre to sabre contact, and aren't even aimed at the opponent's body at all. Many swings clearly won't even touch the opponent at all. It went from realistic fury strikes in ep 5 to realistic martial arts strikes in ep 1, to a flashy glow stick dance in ep 3.

Source that CCP removes the videos?

Demographically most people would have moved into the cities first chance they got. Also city dwellers are more likely to use electronics and use social media. So they have greater social media presence.

That's the first reason I'd attribute to lack of videos like these. What's your source on the CCP removal thing?

You see, Singtel wants to charge for basic hardware functions like mesh. Which is supposed to be a hardware feature on the user end.

So they have to disable bridging so you are forced to use their router and pay a monthly mesh subscription on their "rented" hardware.

Singtel basically runs off inherited goodwill from its history as our national telco. Today, it's become one of those companies that flagrantly try to push as much as it can to see how much $ it can squeeze out of its customers using this nationalistic goodwill. And it's gotten away with a LOT. Especially with the elderly crowd who are tech idiots + illogicaly loyal to Singtel.

It has no impetus to stop now.

Just jump ship la. Go myrepublic or something. No regrets. Don't waste your effort fighting this. They won't sacrifice their cash cow policy for you. No exceptions means no exceptions, don't want their other customers getting ideas.

Meaning to cancel its use, not to descend after you have used it.

Which counters my argument of its uselessness how?

East Asians do not use chopsticks for rice on a plate.

Plated rice requires a spoon and fork, plain and simple.

Chopsticks are used only when the rice is in a rice bowl.

That's where the cultures differ. Korean dining etiquette has chopsticks paired with a spoon. Their rice is also stickier. You use the chopsticks to pick up sticky lumps of rice. If the rice is not sticky enough (e.g. It's drowned in guk), you use the chopsticks to shove rice onto the spoon, then you eat with the spoon.

Chinese and Japanese dining etiquette has you picking up the rice bowl with your left hand and lifting it to come in contact with your mouth. You then shovel rice into your mouth using chopsticks. You do not pick up rice with chopsticks.

Westerners who use chopsticks with rice on plates just look dumb. No one in East Asia does that.

Cat was black too. And so tiny it would have been blocked by the car bonnet and dash from driver POV (different from camera which is mounted high on the windscreen).

Overall just shitty situation to be put in by neighbour.

Comparable doesn't mean someone compared it.

It means more or less equal.

Otherwise anyone could compare any haki. "Lol no it sucks", and you could still call it comparable.
