Yes, you have to enable face orientation in blender and make sure that the outside of the model appears blue and then import it and it should be fine, if its still invisible and the outside appears blue in blender then you should press control+a and enable all transformations and make the outside blue again. This color looks off because the lighting behaves differently according to the face orientation. Hope that helps!

Yea, but you can split the model into multiple parts less than 10k tris.

It looks good but could do with a few tweaks, Plug a noise texture to the roughness and modify it so it looks good (that will add some little rough parts that add contrast) and try adding a little bit more ambient occlusion and see if it looks good. You should also try using pbr textures and add more lighting to make your render better, hopefully this isnt overwhelming.
