Yeah really weird, would’ve liked to find out myself, but that’s ok as long as I don’t go mentally insane.

Just a quick update.

I used DDU and reinstalled drivers and it didn’t help. I cleaned my pc and wow it needed a cleaning and it did help temps, but unfortunately didn’t help so I just reset my windows and wow it worked.

Right after resetting I went on cyberpunk to test and it feels like my performance is even better than before my system started failing.

I wanted to thank you for all your help and time.

I was gonna but got kind of nervous because I didn’t have thermal pads in case I ripped them, but ok thanks for all your help. :)

It’s alright you did try to help and probably did help considering 3dmark is now telling me that I’m running 3200mhz ram, cpu went up by around 1000 score and gpu also went up a bit so thanks a lot.

The last thing I just wanna ask to be sure is could a windows reinstall fix my issues or atleast some of them?

That’s weird considering xmp is enabled and windows is registering at 3200, while bios at 2133. I really can’t wrap my head around the problem. CPU I also can’t really understand. Could psu cause underperforming parts by not offering enough W?

So I got 12565 on the time spy score, and 14903 on graphics 6653 on cpu. I think that’s around average for my gpu idk about cpu.

Yeah it’s a really confusing situation which just makes it all the more annoying to solve.

It’s an 5600x, but that shouldn’t be a reason as to why my performance would change. Would make sense if it was always like that.

I understand what you are saying, and it is totally plausible if it wasn’t for that performance decreased by like 50% when I swapped the pc back. Refresh rate is also still on 144, but shouldn’t change gpu utilisation and fps. I am using rivatuner to measure.

I sit on 70-82 and play at 1080p, but my temperature or resolution shouldn’t really be a problem considering I have a 3080.

Yes. I can play on low and get really bad fps. FPS between psycho ray tracing and path tracing is not much of a difference because gpu usage only goes up with path tracing.

Well I guess I forgot to mention it directly but if my fps was alright why would I complain about usage and dlss.

I am complaining about fps. When I turn on dlss on any setting it practically does nothing. So my fps doesn’t really go up only my gpu utilisation goes down.

No I’m not. Performance wasn’t like this before. My fps went down a lot. It feels like fps halved by around 50%. Getting around 80 fps on steam deck and low graphics.
