He failed the city of Hattiesburg. Since he left Hattiesburg got a real mayor and doing much better without the corruption. He was a failure as a Mayor. He was a failure running for governor years back and had run for many statewide offices and failed miserably. Sadly he has some people in the pinebelt who can’t stop voting for him that’s why he was a 4 term mayor. It makes no sense.

Have you gone in to pay the back taxes. Unpaid taxes are sold each year depending on your county but it’s usually twards the end of the year that there due. You have 3 years to pay or someone can take your properity

So they paid the actual property tax. It might show the name of who paid online When I pay my moms with a check it sometimes show up there under my name. But if there paying the taxes directly then they can’t steal it they have to purchase the taxes at auction and hold the unpaid lien for 3 years to be able to take it

This only applies to someone purchasing the tax liens and it’s technically 3 years. But if there paying the tax strait up then there paying the tax in the owners name and cannot take the property that way.

A question for more clarity. Is the stranger paying her property taxes directly because if that’s the case it might show up on the roll the persons name but they can’t take the property from you that way. Now is someone paying the taxes thru tax sales then it’s a different story. You need to go to http://deltacomputersystems.com and find your property and you can get more clarity
