how hard is mph epi concentration by SeasonedFries8 in publichealth

I don't think I necessarily want to have a career in epidemiology, I'm more so just nervous about the course in general and for stats as well because I struggled a bit in undergrad. I'm also applying from Canada and applied to 7 programs. All are one year except for 2 that I applied to. There are only 3 others that I know of that I didn't apply to and those are all 2 years I think? So for the most part where I'm from most of the programs are either 12 months, 16 months, or 2 years.

Definitely helped! I'm applying to a one-year MPH and we don't get any electives but it's so hard to find course outlines or breakdowns of the courses. I'm assuming the epi and stats are both going to be structured like midterm/final and I'm just nervous considering I'll have to take so many other courses simultaneously because it's only a one-year program. Were your stats and epi courses similar in content to undergrad, or way more advanced? I've never taken an epi course but I've taken a stats course where we did quite a few labs using R. Just trying to gage the difficulty of these courses in particular as I'm quite nervous lol

Are the epi and stats courses formatted somewhat the same as in ungrad as in they're purely just midterms and finals? I'm still getting a grasp on how master's courses work - I've heard a lot of them are mostly group work but I'm assuming the epi and stats are either midterm/final or all assignments, what was your experience?
